2 RepliesTwo condoms are in front of a gay bar…one condom says to the other…hey, do you want to go in there and get shit faced?

3 RepliesHypothetical question here: Even if homosexuality is a choice, why does that mean we should deny them rights? Whether or not it is a choice(it isn't) is irrelevant.
-
I don't see why we should even compare them anyway. There's a group of people being discriminated against; it needs fixing.

9 RepliesEdited by Deus: 3/17/2013 11:53:14 AMNever mind. I'm done with this thread at this point. But the debates here are some of the dumbest I've read on the Internet.

7 RepliesTo all those replies: There is no -blam!-ing way you are born and instantly know what sexuality you are, nothing is preset. You make that goddamn choice, not by the click of a finger no. Simple as, I could go further, but nahh. And you're all nerds looking for debates.

22 RepliesI'm astonished that, in 2013, we're still actively denying rights to certain groups of people. Did we learn nothing from the Civil Rights movement?
-
46 RepliesBecause black people went through allot of trauma due to racism and comparing homosexuals to them is kinda insulting considering the only thing homosexuals cant do is get married. Just try to understand that it can be offensive comparing minuscule inconveniences of homosexuals to the trauma black people experienced.
-
12 RepliesGod dammit! I don't understand how people still believe it's a choice.
-
I'm came here expecting a formal statement by OP. What is this shit OP, what the -blam!- is it? Yet, homosexuality is so controversial on here.
-
What makes discriminating against homosexual people any different than discriminating against a black person?
The extent to which they were done.
-
What makes discriminating against homosexual people any different than discriminating against a black person?
Nothing. They're both equally bad but there you go. There's nothing wrong with wrongful prejudice but discrimination is just stupid and wrong.

7 Replies"What makes discriminating against pedophiles any different than discriminating against a black person?" "What makes discriminating against zoophiles any different than discriminating against a black person?"
-
I don't mind what they do. I don't see why others are so bothered by them.

1 Replysome good trolls in this thread. looking good

1 ReplySaying that people can choose their sexuality is like saying that you can choose your favorite color or your favorite food. Their Logic: "Yeah uh I decided that I didn't like pizza, so I decided to choose pizza as my favorite so that I could start liking it"

67 RepliesOh boy, here comes the "ITS GENETIC" argument. Want to know why there is Homosexuality? This is why: Guys are not fulfilling their role as guys, and women are not fulfiling their roles as girls. Guys are supposed to be the bread-winners, they are supposed to take charge and pursue the girl(not the other way around), be strong, courageous, many things. and today we see women with an attitude of "I can do what men do". Mainly with athletics, but in lots of areas too, they are trying to be better than men, be all they can be, take charge, but that is the guy's job. He is supposed to be a hero to his woman, not a hindrance. So why do some women date other women? Because they themself are filling the role of the guy, or the other woman is. Same thing with gay guys. They usually have a feminine personality, and have many friends who are girls. They are fulfilling the role of the girl, while another guy is fulfilling the role of the guy. Why would a gilr date another girl? Perhaps the guy she used to date abused her, and now she hates men so much she turns to womenfor love. We need to be who we are meant to be, not what we think we want to be. Because fulfilling our purpose will make us happier than doing every little thing we want. We will be content. It's not hard to figure out. But we like to rationalize our behavior or make excuses.

Gay people can be gay with each other all they want, I don't care.
-
Who is still against gay rights nowadays... I think the anti-gays are certainly in the minority and therfor it shouldn't matter cause at least one person is always going to disagree about something and you just have to accept that.

40 RepliesI feel homosexuality is too abnormal for me to condone it. Being black has a biological purpose that benefits am organism. Homosexuality has no benefits to anyone and its a blatant abnormality for any species. Quite simple really.
-
34 RepliesIt's obvious both sides have their own "scientific evidence" proving both sides. It's pretty much pick any side, because they all have supposed "evidence". Read this: http://www.narth.com/docs/animalmyth.html

1 ReplyI'm not against Gay Rights. I'm against Ray Gights.

2 RepliesThe people in this thread are such a joke. People picking and choosing which sources are valid, no concise and well conceived arguments even though they think that's what they're doing. It's humorous and sad.
-
3 RepliesThe fact that homosexuality isn't a race, I'd figure.
-
17 RepliesCrucial question: Even if it was a choice, why does that mean that they shouldn't have the same rights as everyone else?
-
13 RepliesEdited by Cam: 3/15/2013 10:09:36 PMWhat are gay rights? They get no extra rights for being gay, and no one has the authority to infringe on anyone's rights.

How about we all settle this over some nice warm baked potatoes. Potatoes cure any argument. Vien, I'm looking at you. You know what I mean.
