As a lesbian…
Why are there only FOUR queer shaders? Did you BOTHER to research, or just pick up the most popular ones. I see the bi flag, the lesbian flag, the trans flag and what I’m ASSUMING is the nonbinary flag. Soooo, where’s the flag for gay men? The pan flag? Ace flag? Intersex flag? Obviously you can’t add EVERY flag for EVERY aspect of the community, that would take forever, but just four, is quite ridiculous. Just saying.
Also, that rainbow shader is an ATROCITY. I collected it, just to see, and I think there’s some things I can do with it for the Hunter cloak, but DAMN, it’s just…a lot.
Just because we’re queer, doesn’t mean we wear rainbow flags Bungie. 💀
And I know it’s all optics, but still.
Also, a rainbow shader with shifting cloth colors you can do, but a TAKEN shader you can’t do? Bruh.

As a straight white guy there basically nothing 😂 so maybe do a dad shader pack. I don’t know. Veterans and men’s mental health or even November get nothing. Maybe try something else. Really trying here not to be mean.

Historically, their other shader packs have 4 in them. I doubt they were purposely trying to exclude anything or make people mad. But... they could make a second pack! I'm all for it. I havent seen any of of them yet but I've liked what the devs have been doing with shaders this last year or so.

My guess is, given it was limited to four, they chose the colors for the most common communities in the game. Gay men would be another, but I don’t think that flag is very common and generally represented by the rainbow flag.

5 RepliesI agree, I got nothing against "Pride", but if you're going to pander to one group, you must do it to ALL. Like me, I'm a Native American & an ARMY Vet. we've been wanting recognition from Bungie for A LONG time & all DMG has to say is "I'll let the team know." Like seriously this is a Civil Rights Violation, if not a Discrimination lawsuit waiting to happen. Plus not one fundraiser for Disabled or Homeless Vets. Bungie does not care & this proves it.

There’s literally tons of items in the cash shop for the LGBT community and nothing to represent other communities in the cash shop. Some people are so self centered and entitled.

Tbh I didn't even know they were new shaders which I probably won't buy anyways. Don't know how a in game cosmetic can be seen as supporting if it costs ££££ for a shader which will be either forgotten by several people or used as a tool to rage bait people who use the shader. Warframe does it better with the 1 credit stuff. Overall I don't mind the support but again not everyone needs to be on board with the topic so 5 shaders is plenty already + the emblems.

8 RepliesI'm 'technically' part of the Alphabet Squad but I want nothing to do with all the signalling & special treatment. I find the whole theatre of it quite lurid & embarrassing. I'll be wearing whatever shader & emblem I think looks cool. Not the 'current thing' virtue crap.
