10 RepliesRedrix is a comp weapon. Comp weapons are all supremely better stat wise. They can’t make the gun unusable because people refuse to play to earn it. There’s much larger issues in PvP than a pulse rifle. If you’re getting hammered by it use a scout.

the issue is that they shipped this weapon with lone wolf which it never should have had. all they have to do is replace lone wolf with snapshot on it and it's fine. with the current nerf it can still get 99 aim assist which is why it still feels overpowered. the main drawback to pr-55s has been flinch. with redrix reaching 99-100 aim assist flinch doesnt really matter i mean heck neither does aiming. exalted truth for example was shipped with a whopping 72 aim assist vs rose for example having 85. this stat differential makes exalted truth balanced even with lone wolf. they need to nerf redrix by another 5 or so aim assist to see the weapon not perform the same way it has been performing this entire season despite the nerfs. because if lone wolf itself is nerfed any further we're looking at ruining other weapons. will bungie figure this out however? probably not. whats probably going to happen is lightweights will get their forgiveness more so reverted which they probably need anyways.

Redrix's Estoc really is busted. I'm willing to bet it will either receive another nerf to put it in line with other guns or get all lightweight frame pulses nerfed a second time because "clearly they are overperforming". Actually, strike that this is Bungie. I'm betting that bungie sees that Redrix's Estoc is doing well and decides to nerf Fighting Lion.

7 RepliesIt's getting to the point they probably should've never shipped this weapon. But yes, it still slaps across the map after 2 nerfs. It's actually pretty glorious. I get a tingly feeling every time I clap someone and get an extra invis charge.

There is a lot of powerful weapons that I can't get my hands on (because I am a free player), that are very terrible to go against, other weapons like Crimil's Dagger, can kill you with 1 or 2 shots, how come no one says anything about them, why you don't ask for shotguns, and players that slide their hides all over the map, to be nerfed, or prevented from doing so? at least the Redrix is within reach.
