I’m not a streamer and I love contest.
They are releasing the normal mode shortly after the contest.

First, I have no intention of playing the new dungeon, I haven't logged on in months, Second, I’m on a destiny 2 forum brainstorming this of all things. Third, don’t lie to us!!! Your gonna be playing that dungeon and struggling on normal.

I do not stream, but I love contest. Same with dozens of people I know. Contest is for us. The game is not divided into two categories, you and streamers. Just because something isn’t catering to you, doesn’t mean it’s catering to streamers.

Either you didn't read my post or you did but didn't understand it. There's no issue with contest mode, in fact I think that was a great decision by Bungie. What I think was a poor decision is that Bungie is not releasing both modes right away so not everyone can enjoy what they paid for without needlessly waiting 2-3 hours because some streamers want to compete for worlds first.

The race is done by all sorts of players, not just streamers. Again, it is clear you have streamer derangement syndrome. The game not catering to you does not mean it is catering to streamers.

You're right the game isn't catering to me because I HAVEN'T TOUCHED DESTINY SINCE JUNE. Bungie's decision to not release normal mode alongside contest mode only benefits "try-hards" who want to compete in worlds first which are primarily streamers because normal people do not care about worlds first. This is especially an issue since this has never been done for dungeon releases before.
