3 RepliesI wouldn't trust this community to collaborate on making ice cubes.

The community has more different polarizing takes than the current US political climate.
-
This title right here is why we don't smoke crack.
-
I mean bungie already takes a lot of streamers voices into consideration when making certain parts of the game and look where that got us. Games dead.
-
You're asking for too many cooks in one kitchen, and none of you mfers can cook.
-
Nah, we've seen what you all post here, the nonsense we've posted ourselves. We shouldn't be allowed in this kitchen
-
Sorry but I wouldn’t want anyone from the “community” to be involved with the overall design of this game.
-
If you became the creative design lead nothing would change hell it might be worse. You'd still have to answer to the higher ups who'd say no to everything.

Absolutely not lol

🤣😂 No.

Byf should have been the narrative lead since D1

You didn't explain your idea enough.. since I proposed a bit of this before.. I'll lay out the groundwork: You see what the players do (not so much what they say) in your game.. it leads you to conclusions about what they enjoy.. you can piece a narrative to that activity (the thing you observe that they might not even know that they seem to like to do.. even without reward..).. but you still take it and make something unique.. you extrapolate a delight.. something that takes the strengths (core competency) of the employees at hand.. takes effort.. that's a worthy endeavor. In this way.. yes.. you crowdsource the next piece of the puzzle. -
Terrible idea to many voices nothing would get done
-
Yes… more space magic = more fun
-
What community? There ain't no community here.
-
You ever heard the phrase "too many cooks in the kitchen"? If not, well, it applies to this idea.

There’s an incredible amount of fan made Destiny artwork that’s on other platforms. We should have been able to vote for the Seasonal Event armor designs.

I believe “the community” as you refer to is made up of many different type of players. No brainer there. As a result different players want different things from the game. TFS failed because of the direction Bungie developed the project. Who did Bungie listen to when it came to feedback for future development? I think it’s a true assumption to say the wrong type of player given what has transpired. The Development decisions Bungie made regarding TFS turned off many many of the casual players. TFS is simply not fun to replay. The reasons why have been documented previously. Bungie themselves acknowledged that TFS was being developed to force players out of their comfort zones. That didn’t really work out now did it? Unfortunately many players didn’t want this and in under a month after release the exodus started. Now hardly anyone except the diehards are playing regularly. Going fwd more listening to the average/casual player by Bungie prior to new content development should become a priority. Sony isn’t stupid. They’re not going to let a $3Billion dollar investment get flushed because of Bungie incompetence.

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
How would that work ? The community is fractured and has many different opinions on anything you care to ask about regarding the direction of the game. -
Edited by A_mo: 8/3/2024 5:09:42 PMAh yes, the "community." That thing that's usually perfectly aligned with whatever the person currently typing is typing. I would personally prefer another Luke level badass. But having the community do it would be funny to watch, so second best option.

3 RepliesI would sooner hand a chimp a handgun.

7 RepliesSo you want the community, either the groups of make the game easier, make the game harder, and leave the game where it is, to somehow decide things of how the game should be made. That sounds horrible. You're always going to have one of, if not 2, of the groups not liking changes, so it just wouldn't work in any way.
