I recently tried to activate cross save so i could play on PlayStation while i was visiting my brother, it did not work. I came back home (to my xbox) only to launch destiny 2 on my xbox only to find that my characters are gone and the game wants me to start fresh. Apparently my xbox account is not linked to bungie.net which is a complete lie as for i have been playing since December of 2021 on this xbox and bungie account. So, as it stands i have lost a 1,700+ hour destiny 2 account that i spent well over $1,000 on.
