This might get nerfed...
While being very well deserved, I would argue the Festival Of The Lost should be opening Bungie's eyes as to how OP Banner of war is. I'm all for having a good ability or aspect, but it's annoying seeing every post say the same thing: "Be Strand Titan". It has hit that point where you don't see anyone trying to build a real fireteam anymore.
Honestly, the nerf I would think might end up happening is having Banner Of War slowly consume probably class ability energy. Would I be for it? Half for, half against. As I said, I appreciate a broken ability or aspect, but not if it breaks LFGs.

1 ReplyI'm a warlock main but have all 3 glasses.. Titan is my least used class, however banner of war is such a fun playstyle. Why anyone would ask for a nerf of a fragment that actually helps team mates is beyond me. Do you know how boring playing a well warlock actually is? Because that's what lfg's usually ask for. Instead of asking for nerfs, create a titan and have a go. (I do think weave walk should have 2 slots though).

38 RepliesI think it's this eletist logic that has lost a huge percentage of our Destiny community. Most people play a video game to have fun, and feel powerful. I would have respected the post more if OP would have included his choice of Hunter in the original posts. I see far more posts for invisible omni hunter for GM'S and you are leaving out so the high end content like master raids, Dungeons, and using your prime example as a seasonal event that lasts 3 weeks and is made to be fun? Enjoy Destiny when they nerf Well locks, Omni hunters, Arc hunters, Banner titans and then you and the 150 people currently in LFG can rejoice in your vanilla weakened game that is driving so many good players away. We aren't just losing casuals, we are losing Destiny. Hand clap. Now say your only rebuttal, mom's basement etc. I don't know maybe you can find a new one?

7 RepliesBanner of war isn't the issue. The activity is. The arena/spawn patterns were not originally designed to be scaled this hard. It is not fun unless you're running top-tier builds. Which, once again, we have to ask, does bungie play test their game?

It's such a crutch for trash players. Attempted a GM with one yesterday, and the moment (you can tell) his arsenal of tricks ran out or misfired and he kept playing the same way he died over and over and then just left like a child.
