Everyone is aware of a crafting glitch/bug and because of Bungie's office policy there us no one to handle it on the weekends (which is a 1st example i know of a 24/7 service not having ppl working on the health, function and stability of said service) and so the craziness continues.
To make this glitch happen u need to have either a very slow platform (pc/console) processing and/or slow internet, lower the frames and make sure u using some form of download to restrict internet speed even more. This last one is Network Manipulation and goes against your rules, as stated in your X/twitter account when referring to this subject just this past Friday.
Until this is fixed/patch i personally wont be interacting with Destiny2 as the integrity of my personal achievements is at stake, as this glitch/bug has invalidated my solo runs of dungeons for Guardian Rank since anyone with a bugged crafted weapon can now do the same with ease.
As per your own policy, that all players agree with when starting Destiny 2 for the 1st time, a ban wave for abusers of network manipulation should be taking place no matter who that account belongs to. Ppl been ignoring the legality of restricting your network to gain an advantage ingame and its up to you, Bungie, to take action according to your rules we all agreed to comply.

1 ReplyPlease bring your video game achievements up in a real life scenario and see how worthless they really are. Also you don't need to manipulate your internet in anyway, it's a video game relax.

I’m in the not using glitched weapons pool and I know my achievements are legit because I’m not using glitches same as everyone else who hasn’t used glitches can still look at themselves with integrity even if they can’t trust the authenticity of other peoples titles now. Doesn’t always require actual network manipulation but we have had issues since Destiny 2 went to PC and we got cross play. If you are only now seeing the integrity of your titles jeopardized are you not seeing other broken interactions as having invalidated solo runs in the past like eager edge “well skaters” or going outside the map to get past barriers and deliberately ignoring them for a reason. Do you come on the forums every time there’s a glitch to scream how your titles are invalid now?

(which is a 1st example i know of a 24/7 service not having ppl working on the health, function and stability of said service)
Emergency communication centers, hospitals, fire departments, etc. All examples of 24/7 services worth worrying about on the weekend. A video game that's only worth playing a few hours a week? Umm No.

1 ReplyCapping frames at 30 isn't network manipulation.
-
No it doesn't, I got it to work on my third try and then routinely after that, no network manipulation. Your opinion is based on a false premise, I recommend you delete this and avoid being laughed at by your peers.

"Until this is fixed/patch i personally wont be interacting with Destiny2 as the integrity of my personal achievements is at stake" bruh, leave your parents basement and get a job. Crying over some "in-game achievements" 🤣 go achieve on graduating school or achieving a girlfriend.

Bro what is this ego. Your achievements are your own, congratulations. I'm in the same boat but it doesn't phase me. Its a bit of fun. Allow other players to feel the power for a couple of days. You having solo dungeon clears is not diminished by other people also having the clears. You did it legit, well done. But leave your holier than thou -blam!- off the forums lol. No one cares, its a video game which you apply far too much value to. Doing good in video games does not mean doing good IRL. Get over it.

And also, on console you could just have two players join your firetram and the frame rate dropped enough to do it. It's how I did it, no network manipulation or otherwise. ill informed, selfish cry baby who can't allow other others to enjoy a game because it makes you feel less accomplished. Back to digging big holes in Minecraft.
-
That's not network manipulation.
-
Making your computer or console run at a lower frame rate isn’t network manipulation. An example of network manipulation would be that clip circling around when kings fall released and someone unloaded 20+ celestial shots on warpriest in less than 20 seconds.

That's not network manipulation xD

I don't think the glitch required any manipulation if the network and gaming machine were already slow enough (and no, I don't know the exact values of 'enough'). But on my expensive gaming PC and fibre-to-property connection, just limiting my frames to 30 in game was insufficient; it just loaded into the first weapon selected even using a macro on my keyboard for minimum-delay button presses. So I gave up; I'm not gonna start intentionally cooking my PC with benchmarking software or limiting my connection just for a brief use of a bugged weapon.

Lol I was able to to do the glitch on a ps5 with any gun that I wanted without touching speeds or anything... sounds like your mad that ppl where having fun in d2 for the first time in a while
-
It's not actually network manipulation. It's abusing Bungie game engine in reality. Their game engine is far behind most game engines now and works on a "30 tick" system. The only thing people were doing was dropping frame rates to cause the game to slow load between menus and tricking the system. Network manipulation is more along the lines of infinite ammo or gaining an advantage in PvP by making yourself teleport.

My PS5 casts doubt on you claims! Well, that and my ammit/shotgun 🙄😄😄😄

Bungie should be banned for life for cheating
-
No. The crafting glitch does not require network manipulation or frame rate manipulation.
-
Simply swapping to a hotspot is not network manipulation. That’s the only thing I did to make the glitch work (ps5).
-
I was able to do it just by capping my frames. That's not netowrk manipulation. Not to mention they literally told people to go mess around with it so banning people after saying that would make as much sense as a football bat.
-
Nothing to do with network manipulation! On PS5 60 frames was luck, practice, timing and persistence..
-
9 RepliesMy man, bad internet is not manipulation. Switching to a hotspot? Not manipulation. Installing another game? Not manipulation. Sending packets to the server to make a different outcome? Manipulation. DDOS? Manipulation. Get an IT/IS degree and come back out here.

Well thats wrong. Ive did it on a ps5 with wired 500mb intenrtet
