Bungie, make a heavy trace rifle
You could make an exotic mission where you hunt down an ogre and steal his eye to make a heavy void trace rifle that blasts a large continuous beam like the ogres do.

2 RepliesI created a heavy exotic trace rifle and posted it on here probably a year ago. Essentially it was based off golden age mining tech. When you fired it, 4 drones would pop out and fire mini beams. It had 2 modes, add clear and dps. Add clear mode allowed the drones to free target enemies and fired in 2-3 second bursts. Each drone could target a different add. Then dps mode locked the drones so they would only target what you were shooting at. The main beam did 50% more damage than a standard trace rifle and each drone beam did 25% of the main beam. So in dps mode it would deal 150% more damage than a special trace rifle.

Here’s my heavy Trace I came up with a while back: REX - Heavy Solar TR “All lies empty the throne of embers… with brimstone stars he nears.” - Hymn of Ashes, 3:11:5-7. - Intrinsic: Hungering Flames - This weapon fires a constant beam of solar energy. The beam overpenetrates enemies. - Trait: Crown of Ashes - Rapid precision hits return a round to the magazine and causes you to become radiant. - Catalyst: King of Beasts - When Crown of Ashes activates, nearby Allies become radiant. Kills while radiant cause targets to ignite. Basically a modified Cabal orbital drill scavenged from the EDZ and modified with a dark artifact of seemly Hive origin. The lore would basically be a guardian had been reading this old apocryphal book he found in the edz and went about trying to fulfill the prophecy it spoke of. Idk, just my attempt. A big laser gun that makes you radiant and returns a round after 4 crits as a modified FTTC. Catalyst buffs nearby Allies like the solar melee fragment and while radiant, gives a boost to ad clear.

Make a Shield to block damage. Make an artillery Frame Grenade Launcher. Make a kinetic sword/glaive. Make a Linear Fusion Grenade Launcher. Make a Tesla canon. Make a Gatling Gun, you hand crank it, it shoots slower than Sweet business but hits harder. Make a sniper Handcannon with a ridiculously long barrel. Make a gun that only shoots Taken Captain blights. Make a gun that shoots Taken Knight fire blast. Make a gun that replicates Psion void air launcheys. Give me that Hammer of Dawn satellite attack as a Heavy.
