If you're going to complain, STOP PLAYING
I've recently stopped playing D2 religiously like I used to, I only play once in a while for the story missions. I also come to the forums occasionally, and I am amazed how many of you are still complaining, expecting to be heard, and expecting things to change.
WAKE UP! See a therapist. Your addiction to D2 is ruining your life. The devs DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. Stop giving them money, stop playing their game. If you keep playing this game after non-stop complaining, it's your own fault.
Edit: If comprehension of the above 2 small paragraphs is not your strong suit... let me make the gist plain and simple (since people seem to be having a field day telling me I have played the game recently, albeit for a total of one hour over the past couple weeks):
If you are going to complain, stop playing. Otherwise, play and wallow in your own addicted sorrow.
Or be like me, don't take the game seriously, play once in a while when a new story mission comes out. I can say this has had an amazing effect on my mental health.
Money talks, so if you stop playing and giving Bungie money, that's when they'll answer your complaints.

Stop going on the forums. If you’re still here expecting people to accept the poor state of this game instead of showing Bungie backlash so it can improve, it’s your own fault.

I would say there are a select few that don't care, but what this actually comes down to is that the ones running this business is where "they don't care about you" would apply. This is why I don't give a flying hoot about what people say about me when I make a reply about this business because I don't sugarcoat it. The devs are not the actual problem, I mean how could they be when this business hires people with no experience and are told, you are not paid to think? As much as I despise Bungie, I still love Destiny deep down. So, yes, I will continue to complain in the hopes that someday the magic will return. Is it likely? Hell no. But, I'm getting older and will one day hang up my controller for good. I just hope Destiny will outlive me and not fade into obscurity.

3 RepliesIt isn't about playing......It is about paying. Most players on here complaining already gave them their usual years payment in advance for what was obviously a filler year to stretch dates for this games end to line up with their new games launches LOL.

I have noticed a lot of people play for EXTREME amounts of time. And when you play for REALLY BIG amounts of time in one sitting. It’s bad for you. Really. Bad. For you. Play for an hour. Switch to something else, play for a little while. Go walk around. Simple stuff like this can really help the game be more fun because. When you play less, you look forward to playing again tomorrow! Things like these is what help me play. And it’s OK to take breaks. No matter what people say. No matter what YOU say. And don’t feel bad if you missed out on something. Because you will have more things to do.

1 ReplyI appreciate server issues culminating in a temporary Destiny shutdown Sunday afternoon coinciding with my dinner hour on the east coast of the US. Problem=>solution=>back to more Destiny. I play almost every day, 'cause I love the game and really enjoy my time in the world of Destiny. I am also highly entertained by forum posts, and am interested in what the outliers have to say and complain about. Make no mistake, the vast majority of players are not posting here or on reddit, they are just playing, and enjoying it. Now where's the guy that posts the same thing over and over with all the emojis and exclamation points?

I used to complain while I was still playing, now I don't, I play once in a while and that's it. They can do whatever they want. Don't even give a F about the story any more. I just shoot some stuff here and there and that's it. If the game went offline tomorrow for good, I wouldn't give a single F. Too late now. Low effort causes indifference. Some people take longer to get there, but most of them will someday.
