“Getting gooder” aside, I’m only on my first two matches into the season… And my initial impression is “why bother?”.
First match: Not bad. Close. All players on my skill level on both teams. Good run. Wouldn’t have minded losing as I’m just getting started. 10/10 would play again. Thinking “ok, might have a chance, went solo flawless once, if teams are this close even if I lose it’s just a matter of luck and me getting better with practice”. In general this match gave me hope the current match making system would at least be fair… And then…
Second match: Complete blowout. Other team’s lowest K/D 1.3. Possibly all flawless this week already, or if not, this match put them flawless. My team 1.26, .76 (me), .43. Barely got any hits on them. No way to improve as I spent more time dead than playing. Absolutely destroyed any motivation I had to play trials. Not a fan and have no desire whatsoever to even chance playing against teams like this again. The system of rewards isn’t worth this.
I strongly feel that those aren’t people I should have been against. That I’ve been flawless solo prior to the recent match making iteration gave me a bit of hope, but this? Nah, I’m out.
This post is meant as nothing more than constructive feedback with my personal experience and motivations at work. If no one else has this happen, all good. If this is a common thing, then I’d like to think that something will change in the future.

1 ReplyIt's funny how people think Flawless requires skill or being top tier. 5 of my 7 matches to Flawless had +80% my team winning. It's not skill. It's matchmaking gods.

7 RepliesHow in the world do you have 54 flawless and the title? Looking a lot like paid carry especially with this take on the matchmaking.

6 RepliesGo play an sbmm playlist if you want pampered. In what world do players live in where they think a 0.5 is entitled to the same loot as top tier players.
