Casuals can’t play Trials anymore.
Its almost impossible for a Casual player go to the Lighthouse every weekend. The cheaters still there and the matchmaking its so awful. The flawless pool at least gave us a chance to go. This game its an absolutely joke at least in PVP.

Casual players shouldn't go to the lighthouse, not everything needs to be a participation trophey Be happy with non Adept trials weapons even for losing and matchmaking so you can't be stat checked

Non flawless pool was terrible. It was full of sweats that reset their cards to farm lower skilled players. At least now it’s a fair playing field.

3 RepliesI used to play Trials all the time, went flawless every weekend but then I acquired everything and Bungie didn't update PvP for years, so there was no reason to play. When they released freelance Trials, I went flawless in back-to-back weekends, but again, no reason to continue playing so I quit again and haven't played since. And no, reskins of reskins is not enough to make me want to suffer in Trials again. I was thinking about trying the new mercy card but all of these posts showed me that it really didn't matter, I probably wouldn't go flawless ... any time it's a cake-walk for the streamers, it's brutal for the rest of us.

3 RepliesTo be honest, Trials was never meant for casuals. If you know some great players, you can get carried, like I used to, but yeah, it's definitely gotten more toxic, which is why me and my former roommate don't play anymore.

Casuals shouldn’t be going to the lighthouse every weekend…but it shouldn’t seem like a super unobtainable thing to happen, and the matches should be fun not stomps in either direction

As a barely average player i have to disagree. Its just getting easier actually. Since lightfall came out i flawlessed almost every week and 1 time even twice. Its only depend on luck, if rng decide to match you with worst enemies, you got it.

Casuals are not supposed to get flawless. Let alone every weekend. The only time I went flawless was being carried. Never ever since.

Matches are laggy, my teammates are worse than usual and cheaters (cr0nus/xim/strikepack) are in full force settings records. If bungie doesn’t announce changes for trials or gives us an update regarding hardware anticheat within the next 3 weeks then i’m done, selling psn account and retired.
