Why is trials so bad now?
This weeks trials changes are just complete steps backwards, I’ve been playing all week trying to go flawless once this weekend just to keep my glow(the things I do for fashion)., but I haven’t been able to get past 3 wins since each match is me, my two randoms that have never played trials a day of their lives, against the 2.5kd god squads that just make going flawless impossible unless by chance you get someone good on your team, sbmm only works with solo queue if both teams are evenly matched, not placing one good player on one side and expecting a 1.5kd to carry people with .4kds and lower.

3 RepliesI am by no means great at trials, but I was matched with 2 players, one with a 0.19kd and one with a 0.51kd which I don't even know how that's possible to be 0.19, needless to say we got destroyed, great sbmm.

Last week of the season. Only the sweats and noobies are left. Everyone else is taking a break and playing other games or grinding for something else.

what if... just hear me out ya. Mercy Card - 7 wins but losses don't count. means that you win it counts but if you lose it doesn't count but you wont progress. for playing in trials you will get legacy gear for playing . card of ferocity. - get extra gear and loot for going 7 wins no losses and get shaders extra perks on the gun . like a ritual weapon.

The PVP die-hard population plays every single weekend regardless. * So if you are average and playing trials at this time you will very often match top tier skill players simply from the available pool of players that exist

I got matched with at least five teams who were on their last game before flawless, and they had all been flawless this past weekend. It was so toxic. Best guess is they changed trials to match everything else they do to make the game less fun.

5 RepliesWhy did bungie change this in the first place. at the start of the season with flawless pool. a lot more people went flawless right? this past few weeks have been the worst. unfortunately a lot of people are solo players and can only play at certain times and certain days. like i though the system with flawless pool was fine. no?

The only way to put a band-aid on trials until destiny 3 in my opinion is to remove the flawless system entirely. Keep the seven win card system. The game is old enough and competing against glitches is half the match. Which is why I stopped playing. But I get that the addicted flawless players are probably bungies main revenue stream.

Trials is the worst game mode in all of destiny, it brings out and encourages cheating, toxic attitudes, and overall nastiness from all players who participate it’s impossible to balance and the rewards are trash. That’s what really ruined the destiny universe and cause most people to quit the game because these players take their toxic attitudes to the rest of the game. Funny thing is, you only have yourself to blame, yet you play the victim card and it’s Bungie’s fault

2 RepliesI suck at trials, did it for my pinnacles. Had an opponent who joined our team after we won a game. AFK'd the whole match. It's fun fun fun.

I just going to reply in the main post. For those who look lost. Is CBMM and is not card matching either is connection base math making. Bungie change it from SBMM testing for the new season. My opinion is just 💩

I understand the whole "sbmm" debate and all. I get that. But can't you LFG for people and ask for similar k.d? Solo que is a crap shoot. Always have been. And the higher skilled players feast on the lower skilled ones there. Can't blame the randoms for trying. If the argument is about "sbmm" I totally get that! But to bash randoms because they don't move and think like you do, I don't get.

Totally agree about trials Bungie will lose more players again due to trials but they just don't get it... How hard is it to match people with KD.... Why do we have KD? How dump can people be to make 1.0KD to play 2.0KD i just don't get it.

So there’s no flawless pool right? So unless you have a loss it’s always gonna be a sweaty match and now those who’ve already been flawless are still in the same playlist. Fun
