The scaling changes... great.
No more match game, great... I prepared for it, adaptive munitions and under over weapons chk.
And then multiple new buff/debuff systems which seem like a precursor to a World buff system... and enemies get some needed hp.
It all seems good to me, I can't wait 😇👍💠. Don't be scared, it will be awesome... I promise.

Edited by jhermannITJ: 2/22/2023 5:13:38 PMPeople... listen, I keep hearing this charge, that they're increasing the difficulty without improving the loot table. 1. Where have you been? 2. The reason rng drops rates haven't evolved alongside other systems of the loot table is because everything is so easy.... I talked about it when I talked about Raids drops in another topic... Raids don't really give great loot because it's endgame content in name only. I'm not trying to bash what people love... but neither will I inflate false egos. Challenge reflects investment, engagement, and rewards.... The easier the content, the worse the rewards... the more time it will take to get something good. And the refrain for the longest time was that drops were abysmal... so they developed more deterministic pursuits, the focusing systems... vendor rewards tracks... crafting. Still the issue of economy vs. engagement remained... rng still reflected the challenge thresholds in the game... and that's low. Basically, if stuff is easy... and you get exactly what you want immediately, there's no reason to play. The scaling paradigm hopes to address that, meaning rng should improve going forward in-kind with the evolution of the loot table. It also aims to combat power creep with a system that will always work to balance the sandbox and challenges therein.
