Just wanted to make a more positive post for once and talk about how good the VoG gorgons are. First they have one of the coolest models in the game. A taken harpy with ethereal tendrils coming out the back. Then when you are spotted it fully opens up and the tendrils begin to turn red. Second they have some of the best sound design in the game. A aggressive sounding beep as you near then followed by a threatening scream like a Warhammer Titan horn as it sees you, then the sound of them charging up an internal weapon before killing you. Third they have one of the most unique and interesting encounters. One of the only two encounters that actually instils fear into me (the other being tr3vr) you have to sneak around a dark cave network around these monsters all while hearing their sensors growing ever closer. In conclusion these badass little creations are one of my favourite parts about this game and they should be reused for other content.
