Rework Novabomb.

Both Nova bomb supers are underperforming in PvE. They are being outclassed by every dps super/burst super and barely make it past the 400k mark even with debuffs. In my opinion and several others would agree I believe they need a damge buff or a new exotic that works similar to "Falling Star" (Titan super ThunderCrash). Well of radiance is great but warlocks only having that as an option in endgame content does suck the fun out of the gameplay. Chaos Reach is also average at the moment but Nova needs the attention. (Bungie probably won't see this but hopefully it gets more people talking about it). Imagine if you could overcharge your Nova then you explode/implode dealing big numbers and your ghost will always rez you in any circumstance after you do that and you respawn with devour/overshields. Just letting out all your void light at once!! (Balence factor would be you are slowed down when you are holding the charge and vulnerable when you are doing so).

    • Slowva also has the added bonus of body-blocking the entire teams DPS whilst it wanders up to the boss 😂 If a warlock wants to do heavy DPS, they should be running Starfire Protocol. Any mods which boost grenade damage (like Into the Light on Vow) just make this even more potent. Voids better for non-boss encounters tbh.

        My advise for Nova Bomb if they intend to keep 2 separate ones. • Vortex • While the change to the big suck and travel speed was a nice addition, the AoE is not. This honestly needs the same AoE as Thundercrash as the two essentially do the same thing, big explosion and a lingering AoE. But I digress... My rework for Vortex would be as follows: This is your big boi DPS/ that beefy thing in front me needs to die ASAP Nova bomb. Make the casting speed and travel time slightly faster. Once it pops, we get the big suck, I'm talking pre nerf dusk field or Lorentz driver sukkkkk. Enemies trapped inside the vortex take damage and turn volatile. This would ensure that the big baddie is most definitely gonna die and anything that happens to be stuck in the orb is way past overkill. •Cataclysm• The initial Big slow Nova Bomb, get rid of it altogether. Half the time it still instantly pops the smaller seekers even though Bungie supposedly fixed that issue. Why have 2 big Nova bombs? Vortex is the big "omfg here comes big Bertha" bomb. Change Cataclysm Nova Bomb to only fire off the 4 seekers in a horizontal pattern. Give them light tracking if need be but if they change it to this, I'd rather they have no tracking at all, I mean, might as well just use Death Bringer at that point. You get four purple balls with a decently sized AoE, this is your ad clear Nova bomb. Easy to spread across a wide area if you can be smart with your casting window. Hell, if you're cracked out of your jimmies, you could potential to a 360° and have one of the four balls each hit a cardinal direction. #NovaSprinkler

        • We had a nice exotic for "Skull of Dire Ahamkara" ... But at some point it became so OP that you could just spam Nova Bombs. Bungie then nerved it and they nerved it hard .. which makes it on the list of one of the weakest Supers now. Was fun while it lasted :-(

          • They need to get rid of the lance variant, make the split explosion variant faster, then give it something fresh. Maybe a void version of how self rez was (spammable nades, minimal overshield, more potent volatile?)
