It feels to me like Bungie are at the point of complete resentment towards the players, just look at the presentation that leaked where they admit to and encourage Devs shutting down people's good ideas when they have the spare time, budget and drive to create extra things for the players. On top of that they don't want to put anything good behind PvP not even some mid teir ornaments for the "revamped" comp. Personally I won't be playing it and I'd consider myself a PvP main but it's just plain dumb. You want to put a massive emphasis on rank in comp and yet it's not rank based match making? Meaning it still suffers from the no.1 issue that was the reason why comp was dead in the first place. That or course being SBMM with absolute TERRIBLE lobby balancing all to grind for literally 0 rewards. TLDR : it was a comp reskin not a revamp the issues that killed comp are literally the exact same
