So um...when's the next time we get a raid auto rifle?
Vog didn't have one, disciple didn't have one and for whatever reason kings fall didn't have one either. What was the origin trait too good for it or something?

Probably because there are a lot of auto that already exist in the game. Or lightfall gets some plans.

15 RepliesWell, loot is a big incentive in Destiny 2, and ARs are bad weapons so where would be the incentive of putting one in a raid that Bungie wants people to participate in? That's why HCs are almost always part of the loot pool because they're consistently the strongest weapons in the game. My guess is that it'll be next update. A dev said they plan on making ARs viable in update 19 so that would be a better time to release a new AR.

3 RepliesNever, and I honestly hope so. ARs are literally designed to be useless, having one in the pool just steals the spot from something that has a chance.

2 RepliesAR's have kinda been powercrept by smg's in high and low end pve/pvp. Everything an ar can do an smg can do better, maybe besides laning but at laning range you're gonna lose to a pulse.

4 RepliesThe VoG AR’a archetype doesn’t exist in this game. KF’s AR was absolutely dog -blam!- and the archetype is the worst of all ARs. I’m pretty sure Bungie knows ARs are in a bad spot so they didn’t even bother spending time making one for VoW
