How long is something “experimental?”
Freelance trials has been an experiment for a hot minute, but I haven’t read anything negative about it. Why is it not just a permanent thing already?

Not exactly the fault of freelance directly but I feel it splits the pool to much which cause long queue times and very poor connections in group queue (especially at the later ends of cards). I've felt that it should be freelance or flawless pool but with both the population is to divided.

Destiny 2 is still in beta if you judge it by the number of bugs it has, so I doubt they'll remove the experimental label on Trials, etc any time soon.

Gambit has been experimental for like 6-7 years.

Experimental is just a fancy way of saying “we don’t want this to be permanent”

I think at this point, Freelance isn't "experimental" anymore even though it might show up as Labs. Just something they turn on every other week or so.

7 RepliesFreelance is used by people that need a carry and can't find anyone to give it to them willingly. I've been running freelance for a bit now because I want the ship. Almost 50% of my matches I'm on top with more kills than both my teammates and I'm the only one that goes positive. That's all that it's used for

And "the key" to regular non-Freelance team Trials working is going to be by using up Freelancers. * NB the relevant TWAB on the future of Freelance Trials was ~5/6 months ago.

Consider freelance as a monthly "free flawless" and deal with it x) They are just doing a favor to the SoLo PlAyErS by keeping it so have fun with this playlist when its there. Just like iron banner its a limited time event
