Let me get this straight,
You've seen how poorly Bungie has designed things in this game especially since Activision dropped them, and you know they will continue to make poor decisions, yet you want them to bring back what?
Do you want to find yourself back on this forum complaining about "Glass Needles" because I know for a fact Bungie will make it miserable for you and anyone else wanting this, and you'll be right back on this forum asking "why did you mess this up Bungie"?
There was a point that asking things to return wasn't the worst thing, but nowadays it's a very bad idea to ask this new Bungie to bring anything back because their logic is (if it works, brake it.)

No matter how convoluted or screwed up it might be, it literally cannot be worse than nothing, which is what we have now.

Take the armor transmog system. It was a totally convoluted mess for absolutely no reason. It’s been streamlined since. But when it was released it’s didn’t make the GAME worse, it was a brand new feature. The feature itself sucked, but it didn’t drag down other aspects of the game with it’s crappy implementation.
