Matchmaking not paring, cant join/play with friends, Battleground crashes
When I go to the tower I'm alone, when I explore planets I'm alone, when I search for PvE content such as strikes or battlegrounds, I'm alone. When I try to join friends who are in the tower or in orbit I get a network issue message. I googled Destiny 2's ports and successfully setup port forwarding on my router for all supported TCP and UDP servers. When I go into Destiny 2 settings, it says my NAT is open and I'm and usually on UPnP 3097 on both internal and external. When I search for gambit or crucible, the searching for guardians part is endless. It never ends up finding someone to play with and will eventually crash after about 10 minutes of searching. I live in Las Vegas, its not like I'm in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. When I YouTube this issue, I kept seeing videos on "How to do matchmaking solo", I guess there are 3rd party software to disable matchmaking so you're alone. I don't have anything like that downloaded. I literally cant play or join anyone. Its been an ongoing issue for days. On top of that, every time I go into the Battlegrounds playlist to complete the quest it crashes at some point of the mission. I could be playing for hours on end not in battleground but the moment I launch that it crashes. I have well above the specs required to be playing on PC, so I know its not a hardware issue. I usually play on WIFI but I hooked up to a LAN connection and it still had the same issues. I've even reset my router to factory default settings and that didn't work. I've disabled firewalls, uninstalled MSI afterburner, Riva tuner, and anything else that I thought might fix it. I have deleted the entire Destiny 2 folder from my HDD and did a fresh install twice. Nothing is fixing this issue. If anyone else has any ideas please let me know.
