So question I got the destiny 1 collection and the expansion codes were expired and considering I don't want to buy the collection again I figured I would buy taken king and rise of iron separately on ps store but I see taken king is available but rise of iron is not so do I need taken king first before getting rise of iron?

1 ReplyYes, in D1 all previous expansions were always required to by the latest expansion. Unlike D2 where you can pick and choose the DLC you wish to purchase. So if you wish to purchase RoI you need to own all previous DLC. On the Playstation store page it should indicate that Rise of Iron requires ownership of Taken King. Here is the Rise of Iron page in the U.S. store, https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0002-CUSA00219_00-DESTINYRISEIRON1 And here is Taken King, https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0002-CUSA00219_00-DESTINYTAKENKING

Please return your purchase for a refund to the retailer you purchased it from as they sold you an expired defective copy. They should have informed you that the codes were expired, as they've been expired for quite a long time at this point. After returning it, you can use those funds towards purchasing the Destiny 1 Collection on the Playstation Store.

2 RepliesEdited by Ingwe-Queen: 1/15/2022 4:45:47 PMThis forum is for Destiny 2, not 1. The only Destiny available is Destiny the collection. Please accept my apologies I completely forgot about them not being on the disc.

There us only the Destiny Collection on the PS store which contains the digital version of the base game and all the dlc. The only thing that might stop you buying RoI in the Collections pack is if you are playing on a PS3 or X360 as RoI eas never released on those platforms.
