This sniper has never been meta and it's a shame because it's ability to change elements and Ionic Return perk, (which you literally gave to the Arbalest for some backwards reason), are pretty useful. I definitely believe AB sniper mods won't be coming back bc of how it broke GMs in season 13. However, giving the gun intrinsic AB rounds would make this one of the best weapons to take in GMs. The tradeoff, of course, is that it takes up an exotic slot. But that seems to me a reasonable tradeoff for anyone who wants to slay with an AB sniper.
Another suggestion is Overload Rounds on Le Monarque. Overload is so good on bows and it'll be a shame when the mod goes away. Also, plz just get rid of Overload Swords. No one uses it and even if players do use swords in end-game, it's for bosses.

Agree and I it should be a kinetic
-
1 ReplyYes agree. However it's not enough with the ammo economy. It should get Genesis on shield break elemental shields, no ammo Regen on champion barrier break though With arby you can run LF heavy and double dip in ammo economy and scavenger .
-
I actually think that would be great. Arbalest is getting attention because it was barely used. They completely dropped the ball or Borealis because everyone went to Whisper. I think intrinsic AB would be great and so what is Arby does it too.

Change the damn masterwork. Reload on its own is redundant due to the changes to how it swaps elements now. While I doubt it’ll get a champion mid, at least give it something that makes it worth using.
-
It’s actually excellent as is… just need to build around it Shield break charge… and charged with light ….transversives or dragon shadow mean you can always keep ionic return for excellent damage
-
Very unlikely especially after Arbalest got it Honestly I don't think we going to see that many more exotics with intrinsic champion mods
-
or if they dont do that, they could make it as the shot does all 3 dmg types. ppl dont use arbalest because of the time it takes to be rotating between dmg types, when you finally get to the element you want that time as passed. and yea... anti barrier wouldnt be broken either, its a special weapon like arbalest after all...

1 ReplyOk now here me out on this. I know it would completely break nightfalls and buildcrafting. But it would be sick as -blam!- if instead of rotating between the three light elements, if it instead rotated between the three champion stun types. Personally, I think that would be super dope

2 RepliesAs much as I would like this, it would kill the reason to use any other Anti Barrier gun.
-
Arbalist made sense for anti barrier, it's purpose was literally breaking sheilds. That being said, i wouldn't mind anti barrier borialis, hardlight, and wishender.
-
Can't see it happening. Adding AB to Borealis would make it and Arbalest almost identical. They'd both work on those Champions, they'd both work on all shield types for Match Game, they'd both refill the magazine after breaking a shield and both gain a damage boost for doing so. The only major difference would be that one is Kinetic and one is Energy.

It was meta for a quick moment. Then along came whisper.

16 RepliesWhat? Overload swords are good, just not as good as bows. Good players can use them, bad players not so well.
