Bungie flirted with the idea that he died once , but I think they went back on it, not sure I hate to say this but Skolas and Taniks would be the first Eliksni to get the light , Taniks has been sacrificed 2 times for causes not his own ,and there is something going to happen with Eramis that is Crow esque , there is a reason she froze instead of died (we will get a cutscene out of the blue sometime next year) I think MissraxKell will def be a lightbearer one day(if the traveler is still here),but not untill some time after a noble death ,may he and his house live long and prosper
