16 Replies...so in the Freelance TWAB when Bungie presented all the data, it sad that Freelance had 51% of its matches in 5-0 or 5-1. Did you think that didn't indicate a matchmaking issue or what? Or were people just falling for what can only be described as a placebo after those stats came out? Freelance had those issues when it came out. Not shocked they're still here.

Yay for early destiny 2 players -blam!- about to sweaty of matches so bungie practically turn SBMM off to focus on pure connection base instead of a mix
-
Sorry bro they don't give a -blam!- about you or me all they care about is your money. @bungie

2 RepliesI'm sure that if you played enough you also had matches where that team your on would have played a team with 1100, 800, and 1000. That's the way matchmaking should work instead of only being worried about putting people into lobbies based on them having similar looking numbers and not caring about how the game plays.

Love reading how match making is a issue. But it isn’t totally match making. It is also cross border Kay and the latency between console. But Bungie is just to stupid to do anything about it and not is obvious they don’t care.

Got matched against 3 “solos” all with lighthouse banners. Seems legit. smh

1 ReplyKeep on dreaming ;)

After all this time it is pretty clear they cannot do this. They are trying but it is not working. Maybe it is time to bring in expertise to help these guys fix not only this but all of the other issues that exist in this mode? It is crazy that with all the problems they continue to put broken weapons into PvP. Hand cannon and shotgun users have perfected their play and have enjoyed being in the meta the whole way. It is not fun seeing the same load outs game after game.

🤣 man lobby balance is complex. It’s not based on elo. Elo isn’t even a good indication of skill. Their lobby balancing takes the players and numbers their skill 1-6 and gives #1,#s5 and 6 and gives 2,3 and,4. It’s been this way for a long time. Elo doesn’t really mean anything other than amount of time played mixed with some luck.

16 RepliesIt's card based, nothing to do with elo.

3 RepliesSimple fix... Don't use the Elo system as Bungie doesn't.
