Like how it feels more like you bullying than anything and it seems like only you guys can answer is why aren’t you using it? You want the main problem with curciblw it’s giving people free god roll guns

2 RepliesBecause they don't want anything to quick kill at range. They carry on about fall off at range. A magnum revolver at point blank range is more maneuverable, that is a reason why people switch to sidearms in close quarters in certain situations. But at the same range a rifle like that is shown of scout rifles would blow your head very much not clean off at that range. And being honest you should not be able to shotgun charge down someone with a submachine gun and expect to survive. This has just become a game of "close quarters = one shot kill weapons and long range is just ignored. As far as slide shotgun goes you would do more harm to your self with that and frankly they should just not allow aiming or firing at all while sliding. "but we want to slide shotgun!" yeah well it's ****ing stupid and if anyone, space magic or not tried that in the real world they'd end up with a broken collar bone, index finger, over extended wrist, dislocated shoulder, and probably half their leg missing. It's ****ing stupid. I'm fine with the sliding, but that is dumb, dumb, dumb.

2 RepliesNot so much of a shotty fan outside of Chaperone and Duality with that one sharp looking ornament, but hcs are fun regardless of where you stand on the matter as far as the meta is concerned. That said, the real problem we’re dealing with right now is the lack of decent pvp maps with long-range lanes for more variety of engagements, much less any actual new maps, and so many weapon archetypes in desperate need of tuning and reworking being left in the dust.

1 ReplyOki so I've also had my fair share of "why don't ppl try out different weapons?" And I've dabbled in HCs too but since they sunset Luna's howl I haven't found any that clicked. Queue last week trials, I got a igneous hammer with what I consider too be my personal godroll (or very very close to it) and it's just so much fun too use. Yes fun, and yes it feels dirty Landing shots that have no business hitting, due too massive hitboxes, but it just feels good to use it. I went back and used my pulses and AR and they just don't feel as good (even tho I love ARs) the only thing that can rival HC in feelgoodness (yes this is a word 😅) is smgs with peacekeepers. But now to the title... Yes HCs needs a nerf but the need should be the bullets hitbox and magnetism not AA.

The issue with crucible is lower skilled players feeling entitled to win matches. And I say that as a low skilled player. Players are free to use whatever gear they want in pvp. Its up to the player and their skill level to make it work. There are many many non hand cannon/ shotgun builds out there that are just as viable. Its up to the player to use them or not.

There’s is a hc to beat any other weapon class in the game. 120’s and 140’s beat any scout from scout range and some will beat sidearms also. The Last Word will beat any sidearm or smg inside 20m easily and it’s got the fastest ttk in the game vex is probably a close second now. I hate hc/shotgun, it’s no fun because you barely have to aim. All these clowns on here talking about ttk and the Messenger has a faster ttk than hc’s or vex😂. That only matters if the player is standing still. The hitbox for hand canons is way too big. I mean at 30-50m it’s the entire upper body and like 5 feet outside the upper body. So hunters can sit across maps or even from close up and just spam the trigger aiming in the general direction and they hit every crit shot where if your using Messenger ttk only matters if you hit headshots which is a extremely difficult if it’s a hunter jumping and dodging all over the place. If he’s using Ace, Palindrome, igneous hammer, Crimson etc… they’ll hit every crit without much effort. Same goes for shotgun. Same tools say, “fusions are more op that shotguns”🤦🏻♂️. Shotguns have zero charge, way better aim assist and bigger hitbox. I have thousands of fusion kills in pvp and I can tell you even though some nights I’m on fire with a fusion I have a large number of shots that barely just take the shields off. Shotguns your dead. I can’t even remember the last time a player shot me with a shotty and I survived. I’ve been hit by fusions easily able to maneuver to safety because it didn’t kill me. Shotguns and hc’s need to be harder to use and other classes need a buff. For example on smaller maps a 720 or 600rpm auto is still fairly decent but 450’s are utter trash and 360rpm autos are ok but the stability makes them extremely difficult to hit headshots especially since players move not stand still. But every hc 120, 140 and 180’s are all deadly and will beat just about anything. That isn’t even including exotics. The last word, crimson, thorn, sturm are also op. They should buff 450 autos, nerf the range on the last word. Buff 390 pulses and give scouts a small damage buff.

Because the loud-out let’s you take advantage of your movement and positioning skill without handing you free kills. Shotgunning is very high risk and 140s take skill to use. It’s one of the best load outs, but only if you’re good. HC sniper is the same way. Bows, fusions, GLs before a nerf, are all just free. Fusions need to be nerfed they play like heavy weapons and bows have too much AA. I’m atleast glad to see pulses, they take some skill unlike autos and smgs but bring variety.
