Overload Champs - Do the mods work?

Do these things actually OVERLOAD, when using Overload Mod? I want to know if there's an issue with this "under the hood". Bungie, there is no way you expect us to deal with this in the current state. Getting instantly deleted by Overloads in the Glassway boss room is nothing I can do to improve my own actual game skill to overcome this broken game mechanic. Speding 45 mins every time. Go ahead and nightfall report the clears. You'll see not one successful run since reset. Is this a day one raid? NO IT'S NOT FIX IT

    I didn't have any problems in any of my runs Overload hand cannon takes 3 shots With Explosive Payload you only need 2 shots And as with the Unstoppable champions, after stunning you have to wait a bit before you can stun it again We don't pay attention to SMGs, because they're not that good against champions anyway 😅

  • We didn't have issues with stunning the overloads using explosive payload hand cannons. Having explosive/timed payload allows you to stun/break champions faster. In addition, running adept weapons with "big ones" mod also helps. Our main issue was Wyverns, causing us to run it multiple times until successful completion.
