Unable to play the Guardian Games as the Class I wish to represent thanks to having to update armor.
I foresee a terrible pattern of not being able to participate in events and even story because of having to replace nigh impossible to find items with updated clones and armor. I have not been able to play an ounce of the Games as the Class I wish to Represent; Warlock. Between running repeated Nightfall attempting to change the elemental focus of armor and trying to find armor with high enough stats, focused the way I want them to be, I am too busy... The changes affected my Titan the least so that is what I have been forced to play. What is the point of keeping track of 3 classes for competition if some of us are forced out of the class we want to play as in order to get ANYTHING DONE? And WHY DOES IT NOW COST THE SAME PRICE OF 3 ASCENDED SHARDS TO CHANGE THE ELEMENT OF AN EXOTIC? THIS IS INSANE! Stop the madness. I already go my money back but this here is making absolute sure you all do not get me again with your lies and solidifying my decision to not buy another Season. I am not starting over again whether it be soft or hard.
P.S. This is another reason you all have so many hackers. When you make the game almost impossible to play for people with time restraints, people look for an easier solution.

7 Replies1. None of that was really necessary. Only the Nightfall and Trials are level sensitive. So you could have played Strikes, Gambit and Crucible at any level with any character. 2. You only need to wear the class item, and Eva sells class items of every elemental affinity. 3. You can earn medals on any character, and then simply turn them in with the character class you want to represent. So earn them with the Titan....turn them in with your Warlock? Problem solved.

On the off chance that your post is serious, you can earn medals on any class & deposit them on the one you want to represent. The medal case is shared across your account.

9 RepliesOk, your post is super difficult to understand BUT it seems that you're UNWILLING to use your classes class item because you're UNWILLING to masterwork it? If that's the case, then that's all your choice my friend! As a Class item, it's the least impactful piece of armour in your set stat wise. You're able to pick up whichever element you need from Eva very cheaply if you weren't able to afford to change its element (not that it means anything but which mods you can slot anyway, you know that right???) I dunno, this seems like a really poor complaint as it's very easily remedied, it just seems you don't want to? I mean it's not like you have to run masterworked gear, that's solely your choice. Just on an aside, if you're running GM's or even legendary and Master Nightfalls you'll be getting so many high level material that masterworking gear becomes a non event. Your arguments here aren't strong mate!

Nothing outside if grand master nightfall requires min maxed builds you can play whatever class you want

1 Replyyou don't need high armor stat for the event , and for mods you need that only for NF master and gm /solo challange, other than that you can play random you know d2 pve is tutorial mode

1 ReplyPeople take guardian games wayyyy too serious. There is no way they will every have even and consistent scoring, so I just don’t see the point in getting worked up over something pretty microscopic in the grand scheme of things.

23 RepliesI actually don’t understand this post. Why do you need high stat roll armor to do guardian games? Nothing requires that. Why are you changing armor elemental type that’s also not something needed for guardian games?
