I see it as a palate cleanser or meditation. Something to just take in at face value and dig at it little by little. The combat isnt perfect but its satisfying visually

That's the way I play it as well. Its the game that i go to when I'm between games, or suffering from 'Density' burnout. Truth be told, I actually like Genshin Impact a lot, but I don't have time to devote to it, so I can only play it casually. I log on for a handful of days per month ( each session lasting about 1-2 hours ), and then move onto something else.

I put 20 bux into it. And I basically got everything I wanted. Sure I know u need stacks of a character to upgrade their zodiac power thing but still. It's just a blast to play for an hour or two. Destiny to me is a devotion of sorts. I've put 8 years into the game. Polls and chatter a year prior to alpha release all the way to now. It was supposed to be THE roleplay game for me. But it just became a half ass esports that gets cheaters all hot and bothered. Genshin is a game. And a satisfying one as said.
