I’ve found crucible to be particularly unpleasant ever since the Hc meta was introduced. From my experience if you don’t have a steady hand or hammer in your load out you’re bound to have a horrible game, kinda sucks that i have to use weapons which I normally never use just to not get rolled by absolutely everything.
Weapons overall need to be more balanced but the Hc is currently the worst (for me) by far. The addition of stasis also hasn’t helped anyone in pvp

"Ever since the hc meta was introduced"
its alwaysbeen a hc meta
Iron banner pulse is good trials auto rifle is good dead mans is good

3 RepliesPrimary balance is really good right now IMO

1 ReplyI hardly use hand cannons and have no issues. User error ?

Edited by Last Spartan: 3/25/2021 9:00:06 PMPlease, and quickly. It's annoying that I'm forced to use a Hand Cannon constantly if I want a fair fight. They have Pulse Rifle range, obnoxious bullet magnetism, flinch opponents wildly, and do unbelievable damage. There is a reason why the vast, vast majority of players have been using them exclusively; if someone still tries defending them, then I'm convinced that they've unfortunately left the realm of reality. Hand Cannons should not be effective, nor should they be viable past Auto Rifle range, period.

Agree

Edited by BC1 Edge: 3/25/2021 11:12:34 PMYou don’t like it when every man and his dog has a 120? I hate it. After last week’s trials igneous is every where

4 RepliesIt's a HAND CANON. It's designed to mess you up! My iron is finally useful and you Crucible weaklings want to nerf it AGAIN. AFTER CALLING FOR A BUFF IN THE FIRST PLACE. Why don't you learn to be taciturn and strategic? Instead of... whining like a newbie... Adapt.
-
1 Replyif your not using a handcannon, your not playing destiny right -D1 vet, probably
-
WHAT?! You don't want HC meta all the time???? Psh what a neeeeeewwbb. You should only want to breathe heavy af, sweat major balls, and 6 stack your way through every IB. *Scoffs* next you'll want to use fusion rifles for once and not snipers/shotguns
-
2 RepliesEdited by CHAN9E: 3/24/2021 8:29:58 PMThey should be able to buff situational awareness.. then you wouldn't upset that someone killed you
-
Use crimson like allot of folks are. It kills fast. The flinch is unreal. And the range with the cat is kinda nuts. Or get a bit closer and spam a 140 cause 140s have a better optimal ttk Lots of ways to beat a 120
-
Not gonna happen, every time HCs get nerfed they have to reverse it quickly, HC nerfs never last long cause the players love them
-
120s sure I can agree they need to be tuned, but I think every other hand cannon archetype is fine as is.
-
1 Reply120 sure, 140 are fine.
-
5 RepliesThe only issue with hand cannons are 120s. They are broken and should not be able to out gun scouts at range. 120s need a range and aim assist nerf. Other hand cannons are in a fine space. 120s are a crutch and are the new "skill" weapon.

10 RepliesI upvote but then again I’m a casual free to play scrub which apparently bungie and all the try hards/sweats/you tubers/streamers despise me and those like me which is why the player base is so tiny. So none of them will listen to us, they will continue to make purposeful metas that cater to the tiniest base. They will continue to make idiotic choices, numbers will continue to drop, the game will continue to get worse, I will continue to play this shitfest and mock it, the round world will continue to turn, bungie will continue to make profits and nothing will change. Did I miss anything?

You mean remove?
-
7 RepliesI know exactly what you mean? If I don't have a hand cannon equipped and I have an auto rifle or pulse rifle instead? I am going to lose that gunfight. Losing to a hand cannon most of the time tells me that auto rifles and pulse rifles need a buff, plus the scout rifle too.
-
This is actually not true. I've played, won, and even come out on top with one of my favorite loadouts this season- Multimach CCX and Frozen Orbit! You don't need a hand cannon just to feel like you can compete. There's a loot pool for a reason! Use whatever you'd like, test the load out in a private match with some buddies, then proceed to kick ass! I do agree with you though, Hand Cannons can get boring after facing them match after match. But that shouldn't stop you from adapting to a play style and improving as a player!

Endless cycle of crying. Metas come and go. Adjust, play, chill the f out. You’ll cry again when 450 autos are meta too
-
Revert 120’s to 110 but let them keep their range. Job done.
-
3 Repliesagree that hand cannons need a nerf to make other weapons more viable nerf HC time to kill, nerf HC damage at range
-
4 RepliesJust be TOXIC.Witherhoard,Gnawing Hunger or Fools Remidy plus a RL of your choice. Easy kills. Easy wins. You can literally one shot any super with Witherhoard.
-
Or You know.....make other guns just as viable. It’s kinda lame calling for nerf every season only for it to be dog poo weeks later and never touched again. The only reason you see 120s is because they didn’t make the other archetypes as viable to compete with. My Duke 120HC had over 50000 kills accumulated in all activites before the buff, let that sink in.

Edited by Jonah-ralKenobi: 3/24/2021 2:50:54 PMFor me, hand cannons are just more fun to use than other weapons. They are just satisfying when you hit three headshots. It’s like using lament instead of a rocket launcher, just because lament is fun to use. Also, I would like to say that 150s, which were the most used hand cannons for a long time, were nerfed to be 140s.
