There is so much teamshooting
For a game that is supposedly competitive in the eyes of the minority, there is an awful lot of teamshooting going on.
Players have the best weapons in hand and scare to run around alone.
D2 is getting worse with each new season and the playerbase as a whole is getting further away from any actual fun or skill gap.
(I will stop replying to this topic. Some humble players finally got me to look at a different approach. I appreciate all the conversations good or bad at this point but we need to lay this horse to rest. I apologize to anyone I have offended...kinda of.... and may God be with you).

A lot of players can’t win 1s so they resort to team shooting, and because god forbid they lose a quick play match they refuse to leave their teammates sides which is the game we play so it’s whatever.

Its team base pvp are we suppose to paper rock scissors and send out 1v1s at a time i see this argument a bit and to me its just sound silly if you want to just 1v1 all the time go play tekken or street fighter.

3 RepliesWell it is competitive but still teambased on most modes. I like when the People do that cause that is tactical teamplay how it is supposed to be and not a crazy chicken run. It has nothing to do with being afraid it happens when the people are smart😉

I don’t think destiny is competitive but it’s a team game so why would you not expect team shooting? I think there is plenty of room in the meta to run solo and the ttk’s are the same as D1 pretty much. The only difference is that special weapons aren’t as good as D1 and neither are grenades - 2 things that enabled more ‘maverick’ style gameplay. And quite frankly, I’m happy we don’t have 12 metre OHKO pellet shotguns, snipers that don’t flinch and homing one shot sticky grenades. Would you prefer that? Something a lot of players I think are struggling with is the fact that destiny has been around a long time now and more players know how to play the game effectively. The base line skill floor has risen and if you haven’t increased your skill at the same rate then you’ve likely fallen down the ladder in terms of total player population - I think a lot of destiny players don’t see this. I comment on a lot of your posts because you always seem to be complaining about aspects of PvP that will always exist. I run primarily solo and I use both the meta and off meta and enjoy and can do well (or badly) in all regards. Ability/Class balance aside the sandbox is in a decent place and players have just got better and smarter all round.
