Invisible stats are annoying and only cause confusion when building. Why is it that lightweight weapons provide an increase to mobility (while held), traction provides an invisible +10 to mobility (even though it shows +5; totaling to +15), and much much more. These invisible stats need to stop. Just show the true stat. I'm not complaining about the +15 mobility with Traction, but actually display it in the stats so I know that. A lot of players still don't know about hidden stats.

lightweight guns are meant to increase your mobility and I believe clearly state that they do exactly that

3 RepliesAnd hidden perks should be shown as well. The fact that there is hidden ANYTHING is kinda stupid and it really doesn't help that most of these things you would never even know about unless someone datamined it or tried to actively research it. Did you guys know that despite top tree dawnblade not having anything that says it tracks it still does, same thing with top tree hammers but not bottom tree hammers. Or how top tree hammers has a larger radius then bottom tree and it doesn't say it. This stuff is important. I know what my stuff does because I've played with it for a thousand hours, but new players don't have any idea.

Asking for a friend: “what application would we use to see said invisible stats?”

I’m surprised this isn’t brought up more. You shouldn’t have to use a third-party app/website to view stats, and other relevant things. I would guess we’ll over half the player base is unaware of hidden stats. Which clearly puts them at a disadvantage against those that do. Now that I’m thinking of it, I almost can’t believe this is still a thing. Almost. We’re talking about Bungie after all.

1 ReplyThey're not invisible! You just gotta look at them in Little Light, The Vault, Ishtar Commander, etc., etc.! 🤓🤓🤓 Joking aside, I agree that those stats could use a bit more visibility. 🤔

Edited by JensBoef: 11/9/2020 11:14:41 AMTotally agree. Also, stats like recoil direction and aim assist should be displayed on weapons. Also perks like quickdraw, zen moment, threat detector, tap the trigger, snapshot, rapid hit, should give a exact number of how much extra handling/stability/reload speed/aim assist these perks provide.

Im pretty sure traction and lightweight are the only things that add invisible stats (+10/+20). Recoil direction, zoom and aim assist can be seen on DIM which is what everybody should be using anyway.

5 RepliesHidden buff for hunters and they hoped no one noticed. Don’t have an equivalent for any of that on resilience or recovery. Hidden stats are stupid on most games, but most of the ones that do it have more rpg elements than destiny does where it might at least make some sense, but in general it’s just the calculation for the damage or bonuses for the stat that is hidden and not the stat itself.
