1 ReplyCalculators, computers and phones are ok. But all the cool kids use an abacus. (≧艸≦*)

1 ReplyYou know that’s the least suspect thing about college board right?

5 RepliesI’m in the middle. I think if they can prove you aren’t cheating you should be allowed to do whatever, but how could they prove you aren’t cheating. No one is gonna use a lockdown browser or whatever for a calculator

1 ReplyOddly enough, I just found my old slide rule while going through an old box of stuff. Also a bottle of ink, a Japanese pagoda in clear resin, a receipt for a 28mm lens - dated 1972, and a wind telltale for a Hobie Cat.

15 RepliesTI calculators are leagues better than a phone app. Even just the TI84+ is amazing.
Sorry, all out of salt.
1 ReplyThe thing about using phones is that they can connect to the internet, and thus they can be used to look up answers to cheat. Even the ASVAB doesn’t allow them. It’s logical. Plus for the SAT some Casio models were allowed, at least when I took it. So it isn’t really that they’re in cahoots College Board is stupid, but not necessarily for that reason

15 RepliesIdk, phone calculator sucks, and TI's are pretty decent. Moving the type thing and being able to delete one digit instead of the whole number -- Plus you really think people aren't gonna try cheat or do something else when given the option to use their phone or computer?
