Thank you for the updated roadmap. With so much uncertain about the upcoming content vault and the launch of beyond light in November. I appreciate knowing this well ahead of time so I can make my decision now to move away from Destiny 2. I don’t like the direction outlined in the roadmap so it’s time for me to dedicate my time to another game.

Ive uninstalled destiny 2 cause honestly i feel the season content is just as bad as div 2's season content. And wont be forced to change gears or weapons i like a lot. So even if i did get beyond light. The only thing that would get infused would be my joutinn. Beyond light actually looks good but too little too late. I could give 2 hoots about cosmodrome.. Ive got my destiny 1 for that. What wouldve kept me having the game? If they kept the old legacy campaigns. Just barrier and trim them so u keep to the path. Pvp dont bother me. Gambit.. Well i wouldnt be playing that anymore and dont care to as i loved the 3 rounds better than prime so as prime is being kept. Dont care about it. There were missions from the red war campaign i really loved playing on my alt. Over and over again, once in a while when i wanted a distraction. Ive now moved on to elder scrolls and gone back to anthem now and again alongside doom

1. They dont care if you leave 2. I agree with you

2 RepliesNobody is forcing you to play Destiny. There is no other game like it, and though it's not very attractive to a new player, mostly due to there not being a real storyline, like when I started D1 for the first time waking from the dead on earth, it is still just fun to play. I think Destiny is headed in a great place with fresh ideas for new powers. Is there a perfect game out there?

73 RepliesThis is why Destiny 3 should have happened, not this sunsetting/vault crap. Bungie is the best and ruining there own game. Period, TBH besides Forsaken.. D2 has been nothing but a disappointment and a let down. D1 in fan here

Are you just talking about the TWAB and not an updated infographic for Season of Arrivals? But definitely... as bad as I thought it was going to be, they always somehow manage to make things worse than we expect. They are absolutely gutting and shredding the game because they had a shit-fit about file size. Very disappointing. I'm sure Everworse will be jusssssst fine though.

1 ReplyGive remnant a go, or have a look into it. Not really a looter shooter but just a good PVE game with good challenge and some RPG elements and character build options. Costs about $45 for game plus DLCS which if you just play base campaigns is around 15-20 hours content but has replay ability if you want to continue improving traits and getting all gear plus survival mode if that’s your thing.

13 RepliesI'm making some cheese on toast for lunch. I like to sprinkle some mixed herbs on top, delicious.

I think it’s fine to order Beyond Light, but I certainly wouldn’t do the seasons yet.

5 Repliesthe end of what i have paid for is fast approaching and nothing bungie has shown me makes me want to invest another dime.

2 RepliesEdited by KayOsS882: 8/22/2020 8:22:26 AMI’ve started playing destiny 2 after a 2 year hiatus. Got back to it and was totally lost and didn’t get much help so my motivation to play pretty much went out the window. Don’t think I will ever get back to it all. But I do understand why they’re making this change. They can’t make destiny 3 because that means they will have to wipe out everything. Of course they don’t want to repeat the same mistake they made when they released destiny 2. The only way they can continue the story and introduce new stuff is to wipe out some old stuff. I think if they don’t do it now, In the long run they will run into the problem of having too many content to try to manage and keep up to date (meaning, keeping them relevant). There’s a good reason why Some of the activties are being vaulted or removed. Bungie knows that these activities are not popular and just taking up space (the farm, gambit). Why not just get rid of them?

You’ll be happier in the long run. Let this game die.

4 RepliesThis is surprising. It's just like the game itself. You see a positive promotion outside. But cr@p on the inside! Video game on the outside, Magic Cards on the inside. Now throw your effing money on the screen! - says the guy with Doritos crumbs on his fingers!

26 RepliesI honestly think Bungie's PR team is on drugs or something. They're communicating like we're still in the 90s. Weekly communication pieces and a twitter page that only informs when something isn't working. Hell, they don't even respond on their own forums. They respond on reddit. Communication and transparency goes a long way to make a crap product look shiny.

6 RepliesGood decision. The correct one too! All these morons saying "toodles"" "goodbye then" will regret sticking with this carnage of a game/company. Time is precious and these fools will regret wasting so many hours on this trash in the hope it will get "better". It wont. Not on the whole. Come November/December the forums will be once again filled with negative, critical posts. What then? 3 month break, rinse repeat. In that time, more gamers will find themselves single, or divorced. More kids will be neglected by their dads, and for what? Dont be a sheep, use your brain. Break the cycle.

2 RepliesWhere can I find the roadmap?

1 ReplyThe waaaaaahmbulance sure is busy tonight!

9 RepliesWhy do people feel like they need to announce that they are dropping the game? You don't need to tell a Dev that you are leaving the game because of the choices of those up top make as if it makes a difference. If you want to blame someone, blame the management.
-
1 ReplyThanks for the heads up on your departure. Was starting to stress out over it.
-
7 RepliesCool, don't remember asking tho.
-
9 RepliesOk bye don’t need to post about it

Btw, Remnant From the Ashes offers for 10$ a DLC, which have much more content, then Destiny 2 Beyond Light offers right now. And BL cost five time bigger price. Just a thought.=)

This looks more and more like they originally planned to release D3, but then shtf and Activision left. Already scarce resources where moved to their "next big project" with chinese and... Well, here we are. Kind of a new-start-like DLC is coming which propably wasnt meant to be played with current loadouts, because weapons wasnt supposed to be available... Sunset to patch s... up.

5 RepliesInstead of building a brand new destiny and ditching destiny 2 they are reimagining what destiny should be in their eyes. Give them another chance.
-
5 Replies3 Max light guardians. You beat the game , it's not a life changing event to take a break.
