In the vid camm said he playes 70% D2 and 20% pso and 10% other.
If sunsetting is to happen, he will flip to 20% D2, now call me crazy, but D2 on 20% is just like quitting, you might do a raid or two, a couple of PvP games, and you are out.
That is not how we play D2, we chase that god role we never get, but we cry tears of joy when we do get that perfect gun.
I'm sure a LOT of people will do the same, or just straight up quit the game if this happens.
We still have a season before this BS impacts the game, you still can turn the ship around bungo, we ain't gone yet.
Edit: most people missed the point,
Point is that bungo only listens to youtubers, but most of them just stay neutral because they don't wana lose subs, but cammy said it loud and clear and I respect that, hopefully it will send a message to bungo.
omg, is this what it's like to be in an abusive relationship ? LOL 😅

to you sir that will say : but bungi can deploy op weapons again because everything has a lifespan! ..... Shut up dude, I'm perfectly fine with my mediocre trackless waste, don't need another op recluse , what a smarto
2 RepliesMost streamers, youtubers, and podcasters i find lean towards being in favor of whatever Bungie suggests until it's unfashionable and they they blame "casuals" when things go sideways. Personally i'm 1000% against sunsetting most weapons. Chasing loot is not my thing. I just like the playing of the game after i've gotten loot. Grind is not fun for me. That's me. Others it's why they play. I don't get it but to each his own. But as soon as i see who is on a podcast or a title i can normally tell they are gonna shill for a bungie choice. They are always saying nerf this or nerf that or nerf whatever titan exotic is being used. They live off the game. So most youtubers, streamers, podcasters will just go along with whatever bungie says. If they said drinking disinfectant would make the game better they'd be like, "guys let's do it. Bungie says it's good. Too many people are drinking water."

5 RepliesEdited by High Noon at Jötunn Saloon: 5/19/2020 1:43:12 AMWhy would anyone really keep playing? What exactly are we doing if not weapon collecting in this game? Terrible seasonal activities? Hundreds of old bounties? Lazy, tedious weapon quests? Old strikes, crucible or trashbit for a trickle of bright dust per week? Absolutely pointless power grinds every season in a game where power level means next to nothing? Weapon collecting was the game. We just tolerate the rest. Now the rest is the game....yikes.

2 RepliesHonestly cammycakes is a skilled PvP player, but I stopped taking him seriously when he would blame losing gunfights on the meta or "no skill" loadouts, like trying to outgun TLW with Duke mk44 inside TLW range and then the only reason he lost was because "TLW takes no skill" reminded me way too much of dude back in the day getting killed by final round on icebreaker...

Let them go. These are always the same people that freak out with their fake outrage. Maybe with this group of players gone that’s me can transition easier into year four. Long story short, -blam!- em

27 RepliesAll these youtubers crying over their revoker and mindbenders becomming sunset. They are sad.

WHO CARES.

2 RepliesCammycakes also said he preferred the d2 y1 meta....you know....double primaries and boring as content

LOLOL!! "Almost quitting"... is that like "Almost pregnant"?? rofl.. what a load of horse manure..
-
11 Replies5th straight day without logging in. Broke a 200 streak in the process. About 3500 hours in activities. 5212 in the game. I’m not sweating it, either. You know why.

1 ReplyI mean if they pointed out the flaws like DSR Joker does. I'd have more respect for them. It's why he's the only Destiny YouTuber I give any time to.

58 RepliesEdited by Rain: 5/18/2020 4:18:59 PMPeople here hate YouTubers until 1 conveniently fits their narrative. Cammy is a good player but literally only pvp's. He can voice his opinion on pvp related weapon/gear retirement. Otherwise his stance or views regarding weapon/gear retirement affecting pve is irrelevant. In the video he already is setting gear up for next season to avoid grinding pve. Weapons and rolls dont matter as much to him (like he stated), as long as he can obtain a 1 shot body sniper and a good shotgun. Hes always been that guy outside the meta destroying people. Weapon rolls never seemed to bother him imo minus a few. Always done amazing with sub par weapons, which again is biased vs most of the community. Statistics on most used weapons doesn't lie. https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2/db/insights There is an obvious issue.

2 RepliesD1 had sun setting gear which some propel had a problem with but because it wasn’t a huge issue, youtubers didn’t care. D2 is adding it back and because people are saying they won’t like it, suddenly youtubers hate it and agree.

CammyCakes sounds like a hostess snack.

19 RepliesOther YouTubers aren’t criticizing it because they’re mostly in favor of it. They aren’t shortsighted like much of the community. And before some idiot says they’re just shills, why are the same YouTubers that support sunsetting also posting videos about how bad this season is? Mtashed made a rant video saying he is quitting Trials for the rest of the season (and he was HIGHLY critical of Bungie) and he likes sunsetting. Also SNTR has been saying we need weapon retirement since last year, before Bungie announced it.
-
Hey. This is bungie. The same people who said "content is hard". The same people who boldly told us "no, we don't have the resources to make both Trials and ritual weapons in the same season, cause thats like, 8 guns man." The same people who's current felwinter's quest only broke down completey on 2 of the 4 steps (so far) requiring patches. They. Have. Got. This. (Also, totally wouldn't pre-order the fall expansion....)

3 RepliesAll these YouTubers are full of shit
-
Yes, 20% is pretty much like quitting; I only play Trials now and I didn't even play this weekend because the rewards sucked. That's my 20% and it's going to decrease lol, I haven't even started that liar quest and probably won't.
-
What, YouTubers killing D2
-
1 ReplyGiven the reality of Bungies relationship with Streamers I have to agree with you. And the future of this game is just disgusting. Awful content or reskinned content and no motivation to get any weapons. Can you all defending this game still even think of the last time you had fun doing one of these weapon quests? Something very wrong.

Good, I hope he takes bsk, primal, krafty, and anybody else that follows his boring ass YouTube

6 RepliesI call bullshit just like Gladd didn't quit. They are so fairweather and fake to get the views based on the hot topic at the moment. What a bunch of drama queens.

Edited by CorsairBadger: 5/19/2020 1:20:09 PMMost of the YouTubers are threatening to quit Destiny at the minute.
They won't quit because they are all mouth and no action, and they all rely on Destiny for the top-tier lifestyles they've gotten accustomed to because of YouTube. They are all spoiled toddlers having a temper tantrum. They won't quit because they're p*ssies with no backbone.
Bungie: We hear you, so we are buffing sidearms and making Eververse accessible from every menu, including the character select menu.

thanks tmz

Bungie just get rid of the blue weapons if you need space.

4 RepliesOh, how I wish more of them would grow a backbone.

14 RepliesI miss the 80s, I was younger obviously, but more than that, thinking for yourself was definitely a more widespread attribute.
