I left after CoO then came back for warmind then left again. Came back for forsaken and shadowkeep but then I just fell off the game again. I’m thinking about returning again but now I’m a little overwhelmed with all this new stuff. I would appreciate any helpful information.

1 ReplyYou know I'll give a dissenting opinion as to what everyone here is saying. I have personally been enjoying this season as the exotic Bastion has actually been performing pretty well in crucible. That is, as long as you get your charge, think shotgun but with a lot more range. Not to mention the quest is super easy to finish. Then I'd work on bunkers. Grind them into dust. The engrams are good and it gets you season xp (even though the armor looks dumb this season lol) Just start to look for powerful gear and you'r light level will be jumping in no time. I came back after missing the previous season and in a couple of weeks I was 1000. Now if you want to go above 1000 its a bit tougher as youll need some teammates to go for pinnacle gear. Let me know if you're on steam and need a clan :) Also I'll agree with chat that crucible is a bit on the hot side right now. Just know what your getting into and plan accordingly (Lots of auto rifles and shotguns)

Enjoy yourself. Don’t stress out over it. Same as usual.

1 ReplyIf you're going to raid, use Xenophage because Bungie nerfed all the other sponge-killing weapons. If you're going to play PvP, don't.

3 RepliesTbh see if you can resist coming back for a little longer its in a really bad place rn especially pvp which is either hold w with a shotgun or use a sniper which right now are broken and way to easy to use.

In this season it's all about bunkers which you are going to need to clear. To do that you need overload and barrier mods which you unlock on the artifact. So once you have the artifact and the unlocks become available concentrate on the mods in column1 at first (initially you have no other choice) and get the mods for sidearms, hand cannons, submachine guns and auto rifles. Then make those the first mods you add to such weapons as you are going to need those for clearing the champions in the bunkers. You will then get to unlock bunker upgraded. The first 3 to do are the ones in the last column (reduces the costs). After that buy "heavy frame" and "valkyrie" for bunker clearance. Oh and the other key thing in this current season are the serpah public events - in those concentrate on clearing ads at the base of the orange glowin gtower (the active one) because if you (and others do) the tower emits 6 not 2 orange balls. Then pick them up and throw them at the "orange ball in the sky" so it progresses to the next tower. Rinse and repeat, then kill the boss that appears.

Focus on experimenting with the new builds/mods the weapons are really fun too... seraph towers are meh and same with bunkers, but there are supposedly two/three more exotic weapons coming out this season that will be easier to get if you invest so🤷♂️

1 ReplyAnthems starting to look good to me again. 😂😂😂😂

6 RepliesSame as ever. Get on the treadmill, grind, and sweat. Then do it all over again for an arbitrary power level number. Or don’t. Eventually they’ll sunset weapons, so who cares?

Run?!!?

3 RepliesBe prepared to grind bounties so you can level.
