Toxicity and jerks
I hate pvp but decided I'd go for a crucible ritual/pinnacle weapon this season. Did really good... got komodo, recluse, and Randy's. I'm only 620 glory points from getting the revoker. 4 weapons in a season for a guy who doesn't like pvp at all. So here's my complaint... got on this morning to try to get my points. In the second round of the first and only match I play I get a message from one of the players on my team. "Go minecraft loser". Then this person just starts swearing at me. FROM MY OWN TEAMMATE. Instead of helping me to improve he just sends hate. This is the bull shit that makes me hate pvp and the tryhards In pvp. I get that I'm not great but I do have my games where I do good. So I will put this here to any asshole who feels like they have to belittle someone for trying to improve... I know I suck at pvp but instead of being a complete waste of skin, blood, tissue, organs, cells, molecules, and oxygen try being a decend human being and -blam!-ING OFFER TO HELP. Rant over

If I encounter a toxic person who's spitting their poison on everyone in the team, I'm just telling them some interesting facts about their mom until they ragequit the match. Sometimes 2v3 is better than 2+1 toxic trash v 3.

Not saying what the person did was right but maybe comp isint the place to improve. If you don’t want to piss off your team try to get better outside comp. it’s infuriating to do ok 20-30 kills with a 6 Kda and loose because one of your teammates is getting farmed.

I hear you dude. Personally I enjoy pvp. Yesterday was finishing the climb to Legend in comp. And just a lot of hate. Like, I even tried to be encouraging and was like "Sometimes we lose. We just gotta pick ourselves back up" and all it was is "I am better than you ever will be 1v1 me now". Some people are just insufferable. Really makes me mad sometimes that they can do that, often no punishment. The internet protects people so that they can do this. It's shitty. -

18 RepliesHere's the thing. I'd hate to have a person like you on my team. You make a rant about someone upset with you because (from what it sounds like) you played like a deadweight. Just imagine playing comp and losing because even if you did really good, some kid forced on your team did terrible. Maybe play qp before jumping into comp? Also if hate from a stranger hurts you like this you're not mature enough to be gaming online.

Not okay of people to be complete jerks, but if you aren’t contributing to winning in a mode focused on winning, I understand their frustration. Just as you have a right to expect people to not blow up on you for not being great, they have a reasonable right to expect getting matched with a decent player and aren’t going to complacently accept someone who’s hindering the team. Did they have to message you with obscenities...no...but win or lose, if you give it your all, people generally don’t overreact. If you’re in Survival, the expectation is you’d stop breathing to win if you had to, though. Sorry that happened, but I don’t expect anything to change.

2 RepliesI might scream "go play mario kart you scrub" at my screen, but I'd never say that to someone directly. You could be elderly, very young, have a physical ailment, who knows. Truth be told, if you are counting that hard on your teammates in a 3v3 you aren't a master at PvP yourself either. I know I'm not great, and my 5500 match on my main was the most anticlimactic match every, two amazing guys basically pulled me through. I still have to make the glory runs for Komodo/Revoker/Randy's on this account, all done except for the actual glory and I'm not looking forward to it, no matter how much it's really a matter of when and not if. Having all the emphasis dumped on winning just takes the fun out for me.

Not worth writing a post about. Destiny is full of players like these. Report the comment and move on. You'll figure out your PvP stride. It takes a bunch of matches. Dont try and climb to 5500 in a day, you'll burn yourself out. Take a couple of breaks in between a few games.

3 RepliesThis happens a lot in fps online games. I've learned to ignore them and make the most out of them. You shouldn't be expecting someone who sends a rage message to give you any tips on how to improve in pvp, they do that to feel better about themselves.

Just read the forums and you can see that this community is just toxic the only one thats more toxic then this one is rocket league
