It's week 3 of the new season and it's already dead
No content. Ib is a joke. Leveling is pointless. Seasonal activity is irrelevant.
The most fun you can have in the this game atm is turning in bounties. How sad is that.

I've been playing monster hunter since last week. No point in playing d2 since I've done everything I wanted. No point in getting to the pinnacle cap; and I've gotten every roll weapon I want. The dawning is boring, giving cookies for a useless sparrow. The season pass rewards are mediocre at best too.

I agree. This is the worst D2 has been in a really long time. That being said, at least it's keeping me focused on Gambit and getting my 21% finally. 😭

But wait the fan boys are like “but but it’s only $10 and bungie are just a poor indie studio struggling to pay bills and making content is hard” The reality is we are all stupid. We fall for the hype of a trailer that looks like we will get something epic and we buy it. Most people buy the deluxe version and are now in until September 2020 when bungie will produce another epic looking hype trailer and the cycle starts again However, by the end of season 9 we will be 6 months into this seasonal mess so will have plenty of insight as to whether it is worth paying more money for more disappointment. Personally bungie will never get another penny from me. I have snapped out of my stupid and realised just how low this game has sunk What should have been a contender for greatest game of all time has managed to fall short in almost every area because the people leading bungie now aren’t gamers. How could people who aren’t passionate about gaming ever hope to create a world class game. In all the vidocs I’ve seen there has been one guy with an actual passion for what he creates, so much so there is an emote created for him. Everybody else? Just there to milk the playerbase and steal a pay check every month I just hope more and more people stay away from the stupid and stop buying into the hype lie

4 Repliesok but, to be fair. you near 100 raid completions with every raid.. countless NF etc.. you have done it all.. you played the game to death.. If you don't like it you can stop playing until next season or realize its like this every single dlc, season etc.. there are luls where the game play is all that exists.. same thing you have been doing for years my friend.

Logging onto destiny 2 now just makes me really sad. Like it genuinely hurts seeing a game I once loved be turned into this pile of steaming garbage.

Yeah it kinda is. Nothing to motivate me to play. I usually play atleast 16 hours a week but this past 2 weeks its like ehhh ill get my drink on or watch netflix. Majority of my usual friends have been doing the same. This season sucks so far. Nothing worth grinding for. Bungies split from activision was a bad thing. Always thought activision was the 1 holding the game back, apparently they were the ones who made the game better. For these guys being the halo creators its obvious that staff is long gone.

Yep. It’s like this because the content is crap. This season pass nonsense isn’t working. Sure it’s content but it’s not necessarily GOOD content. I’d rather go back to DLC format than this watered down menagerie wannabe garbage. Played sundial once for the quest and decided I’m not interested in this season.

5 RepliesGo play another game my guy. I mean this sincerely. The whales are paying for shineys so theyre not gonna change the structure of the game unless enough of us quit. I logged in last week, saw st14 in the tower, Nice! He then loaded me up with another few hours of fetch quests, and i instantly logged out. Bounties arent fun, getting 100s of kills of low level adds isnt fun. I went and played star wars. I love destiny, but this is one of the first times ive felt like i physically dont want to play. Its crazy

Many of the bigger and older clans are ghost towns now and about the only people enjoying the game are new light players. I won't go in to what needs to be done ehere or there to fix the game. Honestly, that is like talking to a wall. Bungie will do what Bungie does and "were listening" is just ugh!. So the best thing anyone who is in this state of mind can do is to quit playing. Just quit. It's that simple. Find something else to occupy your time with and have fun in something new. Leave Destiny for a year and come back next big change and see how it is then. It's not like you are going to miss out on anything except maybe tons of grotesquely aggravating bounties. Maybe when you get back they will have cleaned up the game to the point it runs better and is more fun to play. Bungie is a bean counting number crunching company. They look at numbers. Player count, activity counts and eververse sales. As long as they are up to snuff? nothing will change. When the numbers drop? thats when things will change. But for today. Destiny is a new light players world. So just take a break and enjoy something else.
