On Xbox one I’ve been sharing games with a friend for 3 years. Now when I purchased Shadowkeep i can play but my buddy cannot. Is there no more sharing of DLC in destiny2? Or is there just a glitch? I call Xbox and they told me to contact Bungie.

You can still gameshare ShadowKeep, it's just the season pass that he cannot use since you only get one with the expansion. It is tied to the first account that logs in.

1 ReplyThe season passes cannot be shared and apply to the account that purchased them. Think of it as working like a silver purchase that can’t be shared through game sharing. This may not be properly explained on the seller’s stores, so I would go back to them on that basis if I wanted a refund, but Bungie can’t issue a license to share the pass.

1 ReplyLicense sharing is and has always been a console specific feature which game providers do NOT have to participate in and this is why they don't because it was never meant to be shared among 'friends' so that people don't have to buy the game or expansions. But with Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, Bungie has adopted season pass type implementation which ties to the specific account not to the console. Which means it all the parts of the season pass would NOT share between accounts. Everyone must have their own licenses.
