Extend Solstice
Seriously, would it have really hurt to extend Solstice like you did Triumphs? I’m in the middle of relocating 700 miles away for work, so I’m screwed out of completing it. These limited time events in games now are garbage, or at least how small the windows are. People have real-life responsibilities, you know. We shouldn’t have to play when YOU tell us to.

I did not even talk with Eva yet. Might not at all and it’s a game if life is more important than live life it’s a game!!!!! Good luck with the move and hope you are growing. If not sorry you are mad your off time is affected by your job I left my job two months ago and once again don’t care to grind something because bungie told me too!!!!! I love this game but won’t be restricted to play the things they tell me to for meaningless armor!

They can’t mold the game to perfectly suit your schedule. They do it to suit theirs because they made the game. And they already extended solstice -
2 RepliesI mean, as much as I enjoy Destiny and hammer the shit out of it... if I cant do something for IRL reasons then it is what it is. Real life comes first, Destiny is just a game and some glowy armour isnt exactly some huge game-changing element.

This lasted a month. I managed to get the armor done in about 1 week of playing, it was a fine length.

4 RepliesI work 50 plus hours a week and spend time with my family before playing. I play maybe 2-3 hours a day 3-4 days a week and finished my set last week. Getting tired of all these “Real life responsibilities” posts.

Yeah, with the long requirements it a huge time investment. 500 solar strike orbs, 10 gambit matches, 25 patrols, etc. long and tedious. The good news is if you unlocked the Solstice armor, I doubt you would want to play shadow keep.

1 ReplyI'm with you there. I moved across the country and didn't get my Xbox for 2 whole weeks. Now I'm on the final week with the blue armor for my hunter only. Unfortunately bungie isn't going to extend the event because of a small number of people like us.

I was never going to do all three characters when I saw the amount of grind needed. I just did one to get the title. However considering there is a long way between now and October 1st with literally nothing to do other than a couple of Iron Banners maybe I don't see why they didn't extend it. Let us grind some more if we want to, run the EAZ, etc.

3 RepliesYou not having time isn’t a valid point. Now, a valid point would be something along the lines of why not extend it since we will have -blam!- all to do for month. I finished 2 characters but if they gave us another month I’d probably do the third. Now I’ll probably just let the game sit.
