I mean but still its an option. However, I think its better than you give it credit for. On PC gambit meta is actually Chaos Reach with Geo for boss damage. One Warlock can rip off almost 3/4 of the primevils damage and if you have two its a kill.

That is one instance. In gambit it might be a better pick than well, but in a raid setting it really isn't.
