Today I had to solo the final boss a couple of times and it was a pain in the butt. Then I realized that it’s easier to kill the mini bosses and leave, so that people can progress quicker with the 100 mini boss kills. Nice job, Bungie. You basically screwed a pretty fun activity because of your insane requirements.

1 ReplyEdited by TheArtist: 8/7/2019 7:03:17 PMActually it isn't faster...its just EASIER. You can actually kill the boss pretty fast if all three people stay. This isn't Bungie's fault. You just have people who want the game's rewards as fast as possible----with the least possible effort-----and they don't care if they ruin other people's experience of the game to get them. Not only do they shit on the experience of the person left behind trying to fight a boss by theselves....they shit on the experience of people whose time they WASTE by having them get matchmade into an instance to finish up the boss fight they quit out on. Assholes are going to be assholes. 100 miniboss kills is about 2 hours of game play once you know how to get around the map. With a good group you can manage to kill upwards of 10 minibosses per run....and if you're good at getting around the map, you can be involved in at least half of them.

12 RepliesStupidest thing about this is that once these people get the majestic set their going to realise that they need to farm those chests to get better roles.
-
6 Replies100 mini boss requirement wouldn't be so bad if it was a cooperative grind..... like the chests at the end. Otherwise I think that 50 would be more than sufficent. Unnecessary grind!
-
3 RepliesAsk players if they’re in any hurry to rush back for more EAZ gameplay after completing the 100 mini boss kills? The answer will be a resounding NO!!! Jumpy jump, boss Hump, scurry to collect chests may be fun for 12 year olds. Not for anyone else with half a brain that just suffered through that lame ass grind.

I "celebrated" 🎉 so much and had so much "fun" 🎇 that I ended up uninstalling 💩.

Just had this too for my first ever run of this new activity. Me and one other guy stayed to shoot at this bullet sponge bosses. Took forever because halfway thru the third person left and nobody ever spawned back in to help. Bungie has chosen which side to appease and so have I. Won’t be playing Shadowkeep until it’s $15 as I’m sick of this treadmill loop & poor dev design

You can cheese the 100 mini bosses with the Cabal bosses. Get a team together, go in..when the 3 bosses spawn...kill only 2...then wait for the Psion Engineer to drop in..kill him..then every 45sec..another one will drop...they count as mini bosses..can get all 100 in under an hour.

Just what I love doing......running around trying to find shit....so dissatisfied with this event
-
that's all destiny is now unfortunately. its more a chore/job than a actual game and yes the only people that defend bungie are tryhard diehard fans of bungie that see the game in rose tinted glasses instead of how it actually is.
-
Whole event is ridiculous. Be lucky if I finish one character let alone 3. Just insane grind. Not fun at all bungie
-
They do it all the time. Make bounties and quests that promote this kind of play. No thanks
-
Because their insane requirements make it feel like we're fighting with the quests and our secret weapon is our complete disregard for bungies intent and other players enjoyment
-
The problem is that the final boss doesn’t count and particular bosses like the witch are time consuming and her shadows don’t even count.
-
38 RepliesEdited by sjshady0169: 8/3/2019 5:16:26 PMYep, and as annoying as it is, I don't blame players for doing it. Bungie sapped the fun out of this event by turning up the grind to ridiculous levels.
-
9 RepliesThe bosses should have counted as 5 minibosses. People wouldve absolutely stayed to finish it.
-
but they miss out on extra packages that can drop enhanced versions of the purple set once you have them all, save your packages till you get the complete set then relax an open them all to see what ya get! should've made the mini's like the chests, fire team based. the map and game design makes it easier to run around solo with everyone taking a quadrant.

12 RepliesEdited by D-Von, Kell of Tables: 8/4/2019 8:33:58 PMAll they gotta do is add a ban. If you leave 3 times you get a 30 minuet ban for every time you leave after that. Resets weekly. Getting kicked? Get gud scrub Ps last part was a joke

6 RepliesI think I’ve asked myself “why am I still doing this?” more times during this event than any time playing Destiny. This is just... it’s so horrible. Yet I’m still doing it. I’ve gone insane. Destiny finally drove me insane.
-
8 RepliesA lot of bounties and quest steps encourage behavior that ruins the experience for other players.
-
4 RepliesEdited by Aslavjalv: 8/4/2019 2:32:54 PMIt should have been 50 mini bosses and 100 chests...
-
Dont blame bungie for fucc bois
-
It took you a long time to figure it out.Lol.

Finally got the cabal one, and the 3rd player left. I punched my remaining teammate, messaged him about the engineer......he just didn't seem to get it. I know he needed progress, it was lit 3rd straight match paired together. I felt really bad leaving him to kill those bosses with nothing but thorn amd primary ammo, but screw it. What else could I do?

7 RepliesDo the 3 cabal bosses, kill 2 leave the other one alive to roam the map. Every 30-40 seconds a engineer will drop from a ship in the middle of the map (it counts as a mini boss) kill it over and over. Best lfg a team if you don't have one so randoms don't kill the last boss.

Exactly. I hate doing it but, it needs to be done.
