Menagerie - Modifiers - Blackout
Riposte - go kill a knight who uses a sword, take his sword, and break the shield of an ogre who does a one hit kill ground slam - but your sword takes SEVERAL heavy attacks to break that shield.
Hunted - go hold down a plate while these giant knights spawn, walk up to you and one hit kill ground slam you - instantly resetting your progress on that plate back to zero.
Reckoning - shall we beat this dead horse?
Damnit man - listen to the community! If you want to keep blackout as a modifier - GET RID OF THE GROUND SLAM / STOP MECHANIC!!!
Or if you have to use a relic to melee attack a huge ultra or boss's shield, give that relic a stun effect while it's being used against a shield. There needs to be some give here because it's gotten out of hand.

Nope, time to double down... Destiny 3: The Boopening

7 RepliesEdited by Daigle Finagle: 7/21/2019 5:27:53 PMMy favorite is when servitors and hydras “stomp” me. Ive just decided to accept that they’ve got a monstrous “Fart mechanic” at this point.
-
Typical lazy bungie dev's the have nothing left to offer this game
-
They should have paired Brawler with Blackout for the menagerie. Take risks, big risks.
-
I'm cool with it

2 RepliesThe physics in destiny overall are just terrible, the major 'difficulty' of a lot of the jumping puzzles isn't the jumps, it's the ridiculous knockback effect when you hit something. It's like the entire game is low gravity, except only when you jump or get slammed... Also, they already HAVE stagger mechanics, why does it need to be a ridiculous knockback when something that clearly makes 10x more sense already exists? A giant ogre slamming the ground and I get knocked back a little and staggered makes perfect sense... flying 20 meters through the air makes absolutely zero sense.

Even the bloody vex hydras started doing it😡

1 ReplyEdited by Flea Flicker: 7/23/2019 1:30:20 PMJust feels like a "lazy" difficulty mechanic. I get why Stomp is being used to prevent teams rushing the boss with a trench barrel shotgun but a better / more creative idea needs to take its place. The first couple of bosses we faced with Stomp was cool. Now almost every boss has Stomp: just feels tired and the game designers gave up.

1 ReplyThe stomp mechanic should exist but for one enemy species only. Different species should have different attacks, which would add so much more variety to the game. At this point it's as if we're fighting the same giant enemy, but with different skins, so it "appears" different. Why do I get stomped on by enemy without legs? Why do I get stomped on whilst 20 feet above the enemy creature? Why does the stomp make me fly so far away? I mean, seriously, if I stomped on the floor next to a spider or fly, it would not fly across the room ffs.

It’s a lazy mechanic used way way way too much .

3 RepliesHello my name is: Minotaur/Shield/Ogre You are on my bridge of folly... 2 miles away. Stomp Bye bye
-
That moment when Wizards have a stomp
-
Bump. Fix the close quarters mechanics for all boss battles. Stomp mechanic is mommy's milk only for the Bungie Defense Force.
-
Oh god agreed. The blast should be reduced by %50 or something.
-
2 RepliesYeah, funny how a stomp can send me flying into a wall with enough force to snap my armor protected back like a twig but a Titan slam initiated from a high point directly onto a boss gets brushed off like a gnat. So much for that "super" ability.
-
4 RepliesWho is "we"? Stomp is fine.
-
1 ReplyYesterday we did a few Reckoning....it took us SEVEN attempts on the bridge because the big enemies were all minotaurs. One ahead of you, one in your back. Please enjoy the stomping. This unavoidable mechanic, very often happening behind your back, needs a counter or it needs to be nerfed to the ground. Guess what I got on that run? Yeah, a blue trouser. A single completion took almost an hour full of frustration and then...a blue trouser. This has been asked many times but I have to ask again. Do you play your own Game and if so, do you like your Reckoning?

They should give some bosses a swipe ability to push players back without launching them 200 feet in the air. For the stomp, it should only be a 1HK if someone is directly underneath the boss, and pushback for those in the stomp AoE that doesn’t send you flying.
-
2 RepliesCan we add shield bash to this request as well? A minor trash mob can 1 shot kill any max level guardian as if they were a fresh recruit, simply by bumping them into any obstacle. This shouldn't be the case.

2 RepliesRemember the hunters from halo? Melee wasn’t impossible, but it required that you be on your toes.
-
4 RepliesTeamster here speaks for everyone. Coincidentally last time I got stomped of the bridge I spotted Jimmy Hoffa.
-
1 ReplyThe power of an meteor striking earth wouldn't slam ppl that far
-
3 RepliesSaid it before and I'll say it again, we need weight values for our armour and weapons and this should directly affect the amount we get thrown back by the stomp!
-
9 RepliesHow come we don't have bosses that our similar to our size that have the mobilty we do? I mean....it would make boss battles way more intense.

4 Replieswhy is there stomp mechanics on a floating eye and wizards who dont have legs?
