.. They've reached an even newer low.
They've decided to not try and fix the problems concerning lootboxes and of course have decided to rename them ''Surprise Mechanics'' and saying they're ''Ethical''... Jesus Christ..

I'm almost convinced their leaders are insane (doing the same thing again and again expecting a different outcome)
-
1 ReplyThey seriously did NOT call them "suprise mechanics". That's a problem waiting to happen especially if you consider what that means in regards to sex.
-
Have you seen their E3 bit for Anthem? Hilarious. For example, a direct quote is “From now on, the only people who choose the direction of Anthem is the players.” I wonder where they got that quote from

You must pay $20 to get the “Speaking Against EA” pass. Then to speak out against this, spend hundreds on an online currency to buy surprise boxes. Of course, the odds are a steal at 1/1000 of a chance.

5 RepliesI give that title to Epic. But EA is still #2.

I HATE EA! I even think they do deals with popular Fifa YouTubers like giving them increased chances of obtaining the best players in packs to entice all the kids and teens to gamble all their money away! My brother does it. He is 19 so he makes his own choices but I keep telling him your literally throwing your money away as when the next Fifa comes out you gotta start fresh again! It's pathetic but atleast Fifa always get like 1 star rating on Xbox so that's a plus side to it 😌

1 ReplyIt's not "tax evasion," it's "surprise not paying my bills."

I'll put this out there so we can all laugh at EA https://www.gamenguides.com/articles/ea-ranked-5-usa-worst-company-2018-911/?amp This article talks about the fact that, get this, EA is ranked the 5th most hated company in America. Not to mention that one time in 2009 where they won the most hated company award back to back.

1 ReplyPffft, I find it more insulting that EA actually thinks that people are dumb enough to not see through this bullsh*t. "Surprise mechanics", please. The only surprise mechanic they'll have is the dip in overall sales, those f*ckers.

That’s like me saying torturing extroverts is acceptable as they believe in popularity which justifies the harm of some due to them being seen as the lesser to what their egos tell them they are.

6 RepliesEdited by StoneFlare21: 6/21/2019 7:20:25 PMAnd this ladies and gents is one of the reasons why I don't associate myself with gaming publishers like EA or Activision anymore.
-
It shouldn't surprise me that they are trying to pull this shit, because they re EA, bu it does.
-
6 RepliesLike every company they act on profit margins and growth, they will pursue this at any cost ethics do not matter to them.
-
i’m sorry you had to hear this
-
4 RepliesWho cares? It's all cosmetic crap anyway
-
3 RepliesSource? Also not surprising in the least.

9 RepliesHave you seen any of the video from that hearing? It was hilarious. None of the members of the House of Commons were buying into it. In fact their demeanor was incredulous. Nobody was believing the bs coming from those EA and Epic execs.

1 ReplyRemember, before No Man’s Sky, everyone released their game. Now they’re all in “early access” lol. They simply want to avoid a loss haha

1 ReplyWell Are you honestly suprised?
