I think they don’t need to be changed at all!
not even kidding! You were expecting a sarcastic comment in here weren’t you! Well I’m 100.% serious. Infusion cores are fine!
They're enhancement cores, not infusion cores and should only have to be used for enhancement. I regularly have a stack on me and most of my weapons and armor are fully masterworked and I STILL can sympathize with those who want them gone from infusion.
-
I really don’t think that many players would truly miss them if they magically disappeared overnight. And I cannot imagine players ever asking for them to return, I don’t see them going away though. Bungie is far too entrenched with them.
-
Never had an issue with them. Don't care if they remove them. I just think people need something easily target able to complain about
-
Yeah. Masterworking sucks though.
-
Slight decrease in investment to masterwork but otherwise yeah it’s really not bad
-
It's not a problem for me since I can manage them, but I'd still rather not deal with them in infusion.
-
Having cores in infusion isn't good or bad. It just is.
-
If you play it's not bad. So I agree
-
2 RepliesI’ve used over 100 cores since season started cause I refuse to look like a walking trash can and play shyt guns the system is complete trash . Haven’t masterworked a gun for months and have no master work armor
-
I mean they definetley helped fix the core economy with spider bounties and gunsmith, however I find it abit of a drag and boring to grind them out. Alas such is the MMO formula though, typically gotta grind out materials for things so yeah lol
-
I think they are fine right now. The new Banshee bounties are not terrible, and much quicker than Scrapper Bounties.
-
42 RepliesThey were fine when they were called Masterwork Cores and only functioned for that purpose. Right now, with the huge amount of glimmer needed too, its absolutely useless to infuse anything until youre 750! So basically, you choose ONE end-game build and infuse it at 750. The rest stays at low power and becomes only relevant in PVP or strikes. So much about the variaty in this game. Personally, I think the system is absolute crap!!! Especially for the ones who dont play as much, or are new to the game.

Edited by A KOOL POP TART: 6/14/2019 1:49:30 PMStill don't like it. I think it's an unnecessary step that is there just to make level progression take more time. I would rather put my cores toward masterworks than using them to gain a few levels at a time.
-
I've honestly had zero issues. I'm always holding at least 20 at a time
-
they are just annoying thats all.. but there is a cure for it.. go to settings and set your time manually to somewhere in the past.. while you are in orbit.. set your energy saving settings to "never turn off" go to patrol area in nessus or edz.. check if there are others in the roster.. if not. go to the nearest forge.. activate the forge. turn off he TV /Screen go to bed. wake up next morning and collect ca. 500 planetary materials . continue to the other forge and go to work.. come back from work and collect 500 planetary materials from the postmaster. go to spider. trade planetary materials for legendary shards if one of the two materials are for trade for legendary shards buy cores with shards rinse and repeat.
-
I think yeah, they are not that bad
-
I'm not really bothered
-
Yea they are fine
-
1 ReplyIDGAF, tbh.
-
2 RepliesI spent somewhere in the 150-200 range, getting all 3 to 750. That was infusing whenever I wanted/needed, and even Masterworked a few items. Still have almost 1800 leftover. Still don't like Enhancement cores in infusion. RIP scrapper bounties.
-
I think they are fine, but we’re dealing with “give me 750 now” players and some who are simply time poor A few bounties rewarding more than a single Core would be nice, plus dismantling a MW is kinda a slap in the face
-
2 RepliesEnhancement cores. Pleeeeaaaase get it right people!
-
3 Repliesyea if you mean the "fine" im gonna get for beating your ass blue.
-
4 Repliesi think you and others in this thread are more hardcore minded. from what i can tell, yall have ALOT of time to dump into this game to get every little bit fo anything in it. You gotta understand not everyone has that kinda time. And i dont wanna spend my 3 hours a day i get to play mindlessly grinding for an extra 4 enhancement cores. Would you guys really be that insulted by enhancement cores being removed from infusion? would it really kill your motivation to play this game that much?
-
I haven't had a problem yet
-
I think it’s perfect the way it is. I have over 250 cores and my three characters are all above 730
