I don't see what the problem with this would be. If someone does the hardest raid challenge in the game, give them the 1k voices. Same thing for scourge, like a diamond triumph should reward anarchy upon completion.

7 RepliesEdited by turtle50001: 6/3/2019 7:51:50 PMEh keep it rng. You’ve got people that have Borderlands 2 for years and haven’t got a 94% sham. Why is your whining worth more. Lmao Editedx2

1 ReplyThey are afraid of having to balance 1k. This is the same mistake they made with Luna/NF. Making it so that less people have a gun does not make the gun balanced thats just a roadblock. I can't speak on the drop rates or about the raid but i can tell you from a pvp and gambit standpoint the gun is a monster to fight and almost always the user who has it is top of his team. I hope you get i,you put the time in and effort so you should get it.

first thing first!
NERF 1KV!
9 RepliesNo sorry rng should stay like every other raid exotic in the destiny franchise.
-
There needs to be a set path to raid exotics, remove RNG. Make them hard to get, but attach it to a quest. Defeat Morgeth in 1 phase without using damage buffs as an example for 1 quest step. Defeat Shuro without anyone on the fireteam using a super could be another quest step. Just make a linear path to obtaining the raid exotic and remove RNG. RNG made me stop raiding as soon as I got 1KV, after 7 clears only. I'd be raiding weekly if there was a reason to like completing quest steps or helping friends get theirs.

All raid exotics should be tied to quests or challenge completions.

1 ReplyPetra’s run is VERY easy. It should be after a certain amount of Petra’s runs.

14 RepliesNo. Hell, why not give all items in the game on completion of the tutorial mission.

3 RepliesMost difficult challenge in the game is in the eye of the beholder Petra's run is easy to someone like me who has 50+ clears of last wish but I definitely sympathize I've seen people with 100+ clears and still don't have it which is bullshit and I agree and I've said this from the beginning that Petra's run should reward thousand voices (and to be clear I got mine on my like 42nd clear through the raid)so I don't wanna hear this "you prolly got it on your first try" bullshit from anyone, it is in fact one of the hardest things to do in the game so screw what other people are saying dude
-
14 RepliesAgreed. And how is it a “handout” when you put in the effort for one of the most difficult if not the most difficult challenge in the game? Sounds a lot like hard work to me. I also love the rationale of saying “no” based on how much time it took someone to get something when it depends entirely on luck to get it. What about the people who got carried through the raid and dropped 1KV on their first run? Did they “earn” it? This is a sound proposition for a weapon that doesn’t even break the game. Hell, I have weapons people consider essential to the game and I’ll never do anything close to Petra’s run. Work on your logic, folks.
-
Or make it a raid based quest instead of a random drop.
-
I got it on my 7th full clear but I know of people with over 50 clears and nothing. Same goes for Anarchy. Flawless run = Raid Exotic.
-
I'd be ok with this. 👍🏼
-
2 RepliesI agree. Finishing a flawless run of anything should yield the best rewards. I'm sure it's "too late" for Bungie to implement this change. But maybe for future content.
-
Edited by Raevenent: 6/3/2019 10:29:54 AMGuaranteed for Petra's Run? Yes, absolutely. Keep it as is for normal runs. EDIT: Scourge of the Past's equivalent to Petra's Run is Like a Diamond right? Do the same for that too. EDIT 2: And do the same for future raids too if they are continuing the Petra's Run challenge style of difficulty.
-
7 RepliesFlawless raids aren't easy... isn't that what Petra's run is, complete the raid without anyone dying? I think a guaranteed drop should be the reward and I have never completed a D2 raid... nevermind complete one without dying. That takes skill and it's a hell of a lot better than RNG.
-
Makes sense. Doing something that's so challenging that 95% of the playerbase can't do it....and getting a reward to match that feat. Reward based on skill not RNG.....sounds amazing.
-
Agreed. Challenge should equal reward. Something Bungie (as well as many other developers, sadly) fail to understand...
-
33 RepliesEdited by Achilles33_: 6/2/2019 5:47:15 PMThat's ridiculous seeing how most people cheese riven for 1k and title. Bungie should make people do raids legit for any end game reward. People who cheese riven deserve nothing.
-
7 RepliesJudging based on OP's game history, his entire want for exotics is unjust. You've got three characters. You can run the raids three times a week. Once you've played through a few times and have the hang of the mechanics, they aren't hard. Just a little communication and your good. One-Thousand Voices and Anarchy should never be guaranteed, even if completing the flawless triumph. The triumph itself is a reward. Or is the OP being facetious?
