Catalysts are not dropping anywhere
I haven’t received a Catalyst drop in this game in months. Have they been removed from the loot pool? If no then the drop rate needs increased

12 RepliesI gave up on completing catalyst a while back. They never seem to be an upgrade to the weapon except for maybe the whisper. Can't think of one catalyst in the game right now that is worth grinding out. Wardcliff was good for about a month and then it got nerfed into the ground. Whisper was great but then it got nerfed into the ground. Merciless was great, then it go sucker punched and nerfed into pure shit. See the pattern? None of these catalysts are worth the grind.

Didn't take long for me because I was grinding strikes for a good service revolver, and did the comp grind last weekend for pinnacles. My problem is exotics. I've had a lot of exotics drop but have yet to receive a jokers wild armor piece. No stronghold. No getaway artist. No liars handshake. Does dupe protection even apply for these? Anyway. It's the -blam!- nature of rng. Edit: really? F i c k l e gets censored?

Suros dropped in comp for me . Hard Light in a 100k+ NF and rat king i have no idea where i got it . The strikes i did when they first came out and it was a hellish grind .

Dont know if you have bad rng or something. All i know is that you need to have the exotic weapon unlocked before any catylists drop

Huckleberry catalyst dropped for me on Saturday. Before that it had been a while.

Which ones are you missing. You only get catalyst if you have the actual exotic, don’t have its catalyst (assuming it even has one), and grind out the activity it specifies. Strike and crucible catalysts have stupidly low drops as well, and Mida is secretly locked behind 5500 glory.

Just got Suros catalyst yesterday at end of IB match.

RNG can be rough in this game, believe me, one week it's in your favour the next it's completely against you. I got Rat King, Hard Light and Prospector within a couple of weeks. One from a nightfall and the other two from Vanguard strikes.
