Then I'm curious, why is it such a bad thing for a community event like this?

It's poor design and the full weight of the game hinders on the shoulders of a few. I would hardly call what this game has a community.
-
I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I found out about this quest on the raidsecrets forum, which is an awesome community. This was 2 hours after reset mind you. So no YouTuber or streamer was really onto it, jist the good old Reddit folks. The community, if you will.

Data mining the game. You don't find that to be poor design when the only way we find things out is through data mining?
-
They only found out the weapon itself, I haven't seen any code with a step by step process on how to do zero hour.
-
Streamers. You don't find it a little odd that Bungie releases the patch in the middle of the work week in the middle of a work day? It's strategic.
-
Ooooorrr, get this, it's like every Tuesday Every week. That has been like this. It's almost like all updates are launched on Tuesday.
-
You're just pointing out information. This isn't an argument against what I am saying.
-
My point being is that it's been like this since d1. Then again those who are paranoid tend to find patterns in meaningless things....
-
Paranoid? About a game? Nah. I called it strategic. It's marketing. I would know, I work in the marketing industry. If you think game companies aren't using Twitch and YouTube to market their games, Apex Legends needs to talk to you. You call it paranoia because you don't understand how it works.
