How long is comp suspension for???
I got suspended from comp just now because I got kicked from the game before it even loaded up...

This is single handily the worst thing bungie has ever implemented! Way to punish players for your -blam!- matchmaking instead of fixing the actual problem!!!

Edited by alcatraz_1992: 10/3/2022 11:02:52 AMmatchmaking is bad....i get a lot of time suspended because i quit when it throws me in the middle of the game where score is lets say about 75-15 and then i quit because i dont think is fair whetever i will be on losing or winning side....and get suspended....but hey we have lightfall coming so we want to take your money again and dont care about the players and the gameplay and fixing stuff up. good work

I was put in a match 1v3. Why would I want to stay in a match where I was solo against 3 others players. It happened back-to-back in Glory Rank and I got suspended. How is that fair? But in a match where I’ll get destroyed, but Im suppose to stay?

1 ReplyLiterally just got a suspension for getting disconnected from a Trials match. I haven't played any kind of competitive game mode for months and I get disconnected once to get suspended? Really Bungie? You've got to fix those server connections and issues.

same, literally sat in the loading screen for like two minutes it got contacting destiny servers then got d/c. I had just gotten off for honor had no problems and then got a 30 min timer b/c destiny's servers are -blam!-. stuff like this is exactly why people hate bungie

2 RepliesGood rule of thumb (for me at least) no matter how annoying a 3v4, 2v4, or even a 1v4 is, don't leave the match. Just stick it out. Too many ditched matches or disconnects in a short period of time are going to result in a suspension. This had happened to me once before I had gone to a wired connection. I had left a match once (can't remember what specifically happened with that match, but shortly afterwords, I had joined another match, but that time, I was disconnected half way through and kicked to the Destiny 2 load in page. When I got back in the game, I was awarded my first suspension for 30 minutes. Have not had a single issue since switching to a wired connection.

1 ReplyA first-time suspension lasts for 30 minutes. Subsequent suspensions can last up to an hour.
