Getting tired of this supposedly fixed issue that has been there a lot... 70 frames feels like 40 in some places, going to orbit seems to fix it but not completely.
Windows is up to date so don't tell me to install that update that fixed stuttering.
Literally tried everything, would be nice if you actually optimized the game to not just run on cpu. Game seems to do this less if you lock your screen refresh to 60 hz but that's not acceptable for a pc game. Bungie please fix it and stop ignoring. The game seems to have trouble running with any high refresh rate and will break over time. 60 Hz being the highest it can handle
Everything is water cooled and temps fine.

3 RepliesSame issue here man.. Its NOT US! Its the erratic servers on Bungie themselves that is causing this lag man.. How do i know? A friend of mine is an technician and looked in to this lag stutter issue and its totally related to the erratic engine and servers of bungie themselves.. Its very unsettling that they blame us, the customers, for having bad internet while its Bungie themselves who has problems.. I have lag and stutter issues since the release of forsaken and it never stops.. There is nothing wrong with my PC and its up to date etc. etc. Internet is also nothing wrong with and i have 500/500 MB/s speed with 3 ms response time and 0 jitter. Like i said before, i can play ANY game i want and do EVERYTHING with my PC except play stutter/glitch free on Destiny 2.. There is a reason why clans disappear you know, people stop playing it because they never going to fix it and blame customers for their mistakes might be their downfall..

Edited by cxdave: 4/10/2019 8:44:52 AMI quit this game a few months ago for those exact reasons. Having said that, I decided to perform some tests after reading the patch notes from yesterdays 2.2.1 update claiming they fixed the matter. And, indeed it does appear, that they have fixed the specific issue of frame rate deterioration in Public Patrol areas that I was experiencing. To be honest, I'm very surprised they fixed it. After 1.5 years of suffering thought this I had given up all hope for this game to ever be fixed. I'm even considering returning to this game now. System used to test: Windows 10 Pro 64, 1809 build 17763.404, Nvidia driver 419.67 WHQL. i9-7900X @ 4.8GHz, 32GB RAM @ 4000MHz, OS & game drive Intel Optane 905P 960GB, GPUs 2x 2080 Ti SLI. Monitor: Asus PG278Q G-Sync. Game settings: everything max, no DOF or motion blur, V-Sync enabled in-game for G-Sync to work, FPS limit 141 to prevent Sync input lag at max refresh rate of 144Hz.

7 RepliesEdited by Golden: 4/8/2019 5:18:14 PMI’m having the same issue, where it fluctuates a lot maybe from 60-75 in certain areas but it actually feels like it’s at 40fps due to the stutter I’ve tried everything, resetting my pc, doing what the Bungie support tells me. All my drivers are up to date, everything is fine. Ryzen 1600 processor AMD rx 580 8b I should have no problems running this game at high settings according to benchmarks
Also Bungie stated that they know it’s an issue and they’re looking at it, but they’re doing jack shit
2 RepliesSo watched your video again and your FPS doesn’t seem to flutter below 60 ever. If that’s the case the the issue is with your monitor not syncing to the game correctly meaning you need to take a look at your monitor settings at least with destiny.

15 RepliesEdited by iRambL: 4/8/2019 2:59:15 PMYou said “feels” like 40 but have you actually confirmed it’s running that low? Also I know you have a 165 hz monitor but try locking it to 144 with a frame limit at the same level and see if that makes it smoother.
